  1. That's very unfortunate. And it's not like you could've ran round the campsite shouting "has anyone seen my ring" either...
  2. I've got tubs and tubs of Villa stuff but it's all in boxes in storage. One item I did have was an artistic type print drawing (similar to Mr Albrighton's picture above) of all the villa players from 80's and 90's. However, it contained Yorke and Southgate and so it was swiftly donated to a charity shop many years ago. Hopefully I'll have room one day again to display all of the memorabilia that was worth keeping.
  3. Also formerly known as Midland Bank was it not?
  4. Hopefully all is okay with him (and his toe ) and he is back soon. Unai and the club are not going to go into detail about these things so probably makes sense his "toe" is the reason.
  5. It was one of those days mate. After the first 3 races I got involved in it wasn't going to get any better and closed the wallet and watched the game with a few beers instead. Nothing wrong in living to fight another day rather than lining their pockets. Saturday looks a good day with jump action at Ascot and Wetherby.
  6. Was hoping to be 2 or 3 by now. Hopefully 2nd half sees a few more goals for us
  7. 2.20 Winc - Inside Man (Villa Colours) to win.
  8. Definately a tough one to call Ruge. There's about 5 or 6 you could throw a blanket over. Going to side with Do Your Job for the win. BF paying 4 places. Hang in there E/W Courtland E/W
  9. Missed the 1st bloody race. 5hought it was 1.30.
  10. Some good jump racing today across the cards at Aintree, Wincanton. Also Galway but not much of a decent card there. Wexford abandoned.
  11. Relief. Decent return for him with £20 e/w on him. Praying he held on for 4th. Finished up on the day though with a decent profit. Back to the drawing board tonight to study and all on Aintree and Wincanton tomorrow.
  12. Last race for me for today. 4.45 Chel (BF paying 4 places here) Catch yourself on win Soir De Gala e/w Strong Foundations e/w Tout Su Moir e/w (The last two have a decent chance of reaching the frame... and running in Villa Colours)
  13. Finished like a train for 2nd... should have did that a bit sooner.
  14. He does. Weak field and will be interesting to seen what he does in better company in bigger fields in the near future.
  15. Bad couple of jumps at the last cost him but I think the winner still might just have had enough regardless.
  16. Lucinda Russell on fire up at Kelso.. Few quid on her next one at 16.29 - Hector Master
  17. Broadway Boy 4.10 Chel. FAV is too short so siding with De Boinville again.
  18. Just held on. Nothing to shout about in that one though.
  19. Next one at Chelt 3.35 is a tricky one for a small field. I'm siding with Butch - Owner Max McNeil won this race last year with Shearer so I'm just about siding with him. Lisnamult lad in the F/C. **Cracked a stake on each to win as it's too hard to call.
  20. De Boinville owed me after the last race. Won well though.
