I think most fans would like both dropped given the choice. Get Luiz on next to Boub, get Buendia on and use the width of the pitch. Gerrard makes some incredibly strange decisions.

I've only ever watched Werner for Chelsea and he's been pretty much shit in every game I've watched. Maybe he has potential but he's certainly not better than Ollie currently.

I suspect he'll leave Chelsea not having played as many PL minutes as he played for us last season. That's his choice, we can now concentrate on the youth who do want to play for us.

He pretty much proved he could do it at Championship level last season. At some point you have to give developing talent a chance to break through. If he fails to get minutes he will be loaned out in January.

I think we have the squad to challenge for 8th if the right tactics and formation are used. I think we'll finish 11th/ 12th

We don't need wingers when we don't play with them. Obviously, that may be a problem for the next manager who will come in and find a dearth of wide players in the squad, but we'll worry about that in 6 months.

You maybe correct and that is exactly why these sorts of questions should be asked and looked into

I don't think anyone on here is suggesting there is an issue with racism within this squad, clearly the best English players playing the game are in the team on merit and that is why they are doing so well. It is right though to ask the question as to why the women's game is so dominated by one ethnicity when the men's game clearly isn't. Is it because at the roots of the women's game some areas and some ethnicities are not able to access the opportunities? Is it adversely affecting certain people? In the end it is important that these questions are asked because to improve the woman's game overall you need to give as many as possible the opportunity to succeed in it.
