Without knowing how old you are and anything about injuries etc, I reckon you probably could, it'd just take an awful lot of hard work and your life might not be able to accommodate that, I know mine wouldn't. My aim is to get down to as close to a 20 minute 5K as I can. A few years ago, I was stuck around 28/29 minutes, but all I did was run 5Ks. Once I started trianing properly and constantly, the times really started coming down.

I’d absolutely love to ‘fail’ that quickly!

Did the Leicester Big 10K today, good fun, around Abbey Park in the city centre.
  4. There were the NTL (whooooo?) investment in clubs like Villa as well.

Wordle 1,029 3/6* Gah, so near to a massive spawn!
  7. I don't think there's much chance of us keeping him, and neither should we. When Buendia and Ramsey are fit, they'll be competing with Rogers for the same sort of positions on the pitch. Zaniolo's not getting a game ahead of those three.

Harry Kane got 21 goals in his first full season in the Premier league, aged 21. Other than that, fair point!
  9. Congratulations on the weight loss mate, keepi it going. As RDS says below, maybe look to do some exercise that's less hard on the joints than running, until you get the final 3 stone off. As you get closer to the target, you can start upping your running. 3 stone is still quite a bit to be carrying if you're hitting the roads, imagine putting 21 bags of sugar in a ruck sack and jogging around with that on, it's all going to impact on your joints, ie back, hips, knees and ankles. Once you get down to your target weight, as you rightly say, start at a relatively easy distance like 3K, then increase that gradually up by about 10% a week. I properly knackered my ankles and back a few years ago by trying to run too much before I'd lost weight, but now with the wegith gone it's much, much easier. Try to mix in some strength and conditioning and mobility work, it all helps massively.

Good luck mate, I’m sure it will be brilliant! Did the London Landmarks half yesterday, first time me and my daughter Izzi have run that far. Weather was an annoying mix of bright sun and ferocious wind. Got round in 2:12. Would have liked closer to 2:00 but we were in a slow wave with a very packed start and the wind was brutal.

  13. Brentford are absolutely shocking away from home, 9 defeats in their last ten games. We should easily be capable of stuffing them. Torres and Bailey had played one game after a two week break.
  14. There's no guarantee that 5th will be enough though. We'd probably have lost anyway last night, but the team selection, especially without Pau, practically guaranteed it. The side that finished the game was an absolute shambles.
  15. Yep. he had a two week break before the Wolves game. He's absolutely key to the way we play, so if anything, resting him when we're 2-0 up against Brentford would have made more sense.
