In the South American group for world cup qualifying tomorrow night, 3rd and 4th placed Chile and Ecuador play each other, with both teams on 25 points, and 5th placed Uruguay on 22 points, with one game remaining. A draw between Chile and Ecuador would see both nations qualify for the world cup regardless of Uruguay or anyone elses result. Admittedly its not great odds, but the draw is 8/13, and I would say lump big time on that. I remember the last time I lumped on something like this, when Brugge played Braga in SHA's europa league, when a draw meant both teams would qualify at SHA's expense. Low and behold, it finished 1-1. Nailed on. EDIT - or not. finished 2-1 Chile. £80 i wont see again

Barry, Milner, Downing, Young now Benteke. Does it really matter what price we get for him £20mill, £30mill, £80mill. What'll happen if we re-invest that money on players and we discover another gem who bangs in 20 goals? We'll lose him too after a year or two. Never ending cycle

Apologies if someone has already mentioned this as I cannot be bothered to read 6 pages to look for it, But Paul Lambert has played 3 won 3 against Brendan Rodgers teams in the premier league. He clearly knows how to play against this particular style. However being realistic Liverpool are, on their day, a fantastic team and much much better than villa. Our strengths lie in attacking, we put 3 past qpr last time out and 3 against these last time we played them. Game plan MUST be go for the jugular from minute one and just outscore them, because we won't contain them and suarez will murder our back 4. 2-2
