  1. I think it was this thread where someone (Paddy?) mentiopned about the petrol pump sign on a dashbaord having the handle on the same side as the filler cap on the actual car... Hate to prove you wrong...
  2. I went 9. We filled every spot we were lacking in. Our strikers were good enough for 5th place last season. It was the defence that let us down.
  3. What about when Sidwell is back.... I think it'll be Young - Barry - Sidwell - Milner. Sidwell maybe be swapped with Reo-Coker, although Petrov has been decent in a few games, its abut season long peformances.
  4. Hi General. Im sure you are already aware but we tend to have a problem with Liverpool fans sitting in home areas and was wondering what the official rule was? should they be removed as soon as they are identified or do they get a warning? I only ask beacuse for the last 2 seasons I have been 2 seats away from one who just seems to get told to be quiet. Cheers Carl
  5. Gary Glitter has just been spotted walking around London with his new wife...... Madeleine McCann....
  6. Being married to an ex GB race walker I have to say she was not amused reading this!!! I went for Softball.
  7. I agree General, I actually brought this topic up about 2 years ago and was told it was too hard to get it done but then a while back I think you said it was on the 'to do' list. Be nice to see it shining in Claret and Blue!
  8. Hi General, Just a little moan about something I discovered today. A bottle of Coke/Fanta is £1.75. Is it really necessary to have such a high price? The price of the other items seems about normal for this type of outlet but I think the bottles are way over priced. I don't usually moan about this sort of stuff but I was amazed at the price. VB.
  9. A cruise on the Pacific goes all wrong, the ship sinks, and there are only 3 Survivors; Damian, Darren and Deirdre. They manage to swim to a small island and they lived there for a couple of years doing what's natural for men and women to do. After several years of casual sex, all the time, Deirdre felt absolutely horrible about what she was doing. She felt having sex with both Damian and Darren was so bad that she killed herself. It was tragic but Damian and Darren managed to get through it and, after a while, nature once more took its inevitable course. Well, a couple more years went by and Damian and Darren began to feel absolutely horrible about what they were doing. So they buried Deirdre.
  10. The Death of Mr. Common Sense My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time passed by. Today I read his obituary. Please join me for a moment of silence in remembrance. For Common Sense had served us all so well for so many generations. Obituary Common Sense Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't legally defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm a Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
