  1. I look forward to the big games these days. Our style just does not suit games like today. We need to pass and move in games like this.
  2. Terrible performance so far. We're not playing Chelsea today, we should be the better side. Games like this need to be controlled.
  3. Don't really care one way or t'other TBH.
  4. Ha ha, I'm pretty sure The Rev's post was tongue in cheek. Good answer though. Quick question, are we going to be privy to HOK's analysis recommendations for VP, or is it going to be kept in-house.
  5. Economic Left/Right: -7.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.18 Wow I'm such a lefty. With Ganhi, the Dalai Lama and Mandela....not bad company really. I feel sorry for the poor dumb bastards who think like Thatcher, Brown, Berlusconi, Bush.....
  6. Although made using the off-cuts from Sgt Peppers, I think Magical Mystery Tour is their best. Although I think they're one of, if not the best band of all time it's quite strange that I really don't think they released a single album which doesn't have some really weak songs. Peppers/Mystery Tour could, should have been the greatest album of all time but they decided to release their material over two separate albums that year. If you cherry pick the best songs from both albums..... Side one # 1. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" 2. "With a Little Help from My Friends" 3. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" 4. "Getting Better" 5. "She's Leaving Home" 6. "Magical Mystery Tour" 7. "I Am the Walrus" Side two # 1. "Hello Goodbye" 2. "Strawberry Fields Forever" 3. "Baby, You're a Rich Man" 4. "All You Need Is Love" 5. "Within You Without You" 6. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" 7. "A Day in the Life" IMO of course.
  7. Consistent, made very few errors. Delaney.
  8. Young............ No, actually Milner. No no, definitely Young. I mean Milner Young Milner Young Milner. Oh F**k it they're both great.

    America

Bill Bailey? I love and hate the US in equal measures.
  10. "Ian Rush said that if I drink my milk, one day I can play for Accrington Stanley" "Accrington Stanley, who are they?!" "Exactly" edit...isn't it supposed to be 'don't drink my milk?'
  11. Milk? it's what Ian Rush drinks......
  12. We change the kit practically every year. We sometimes (wrongly IMO) deviate from claret body blue sleeves. We've just had a new badge (horrid IMO), it will be with us for the next decade or so until the next 're-brand'. I don't know what more you want really? Yet another new badge? After spending so much on this recent re-brand, including the new mosaic on the stadium with the current badge do you really want to start again from scratch?
  13. This thread was started before most VTer's were born. Oh and for the record, BBC win my vote. They're shit but at least with the bbc you know your not going to be watching an advert for Kingsmill bread when the 90th minuet winner goes in.
  14. He was a brilliant striker in his prime but one who never fitted in to our style of play. He's way past it now, but even if we wasn't he wouldn't be MON's cup of tea. Although IMO, with his spring and heading ability he'd revel in the service we now have from the wings. What annoys me about attitudes towards the player is, he's either hated by some for not performing or loved by others in an almost patronising way, 'he was a nice man' or 'a good pro'. Bullshit, there was a bloody good player there who's talents we failed to utilise. That's a great shame.
  15. I love The Kills, I love The Greenhornes and Jack White so this little supergroup were always going to be something special for me, their first single has not disappointed, great video too. The Dead Weather - Treat Me Like Your Mother
  16. The kind of 80's shit I despise normally but I'm in a weird mood today. They're dressed like street entertainers, but I'd still nob the bird. This is a better song from legendary poet, John Cooper Clarke. Thirty-Six Hours (1980)
  17. I'm completely neutral, may the best team win. I have a suspicion it will be a Man U v Barca final with Man U taking the cup home. Whoever wins I certainly wont hang myself.
  18. Is anybody marking Rooney, he has the freedom of the park!
  19. Too easy for United, could be 4 or 5 here.
