lol again at VAR. no handball for Alderweireld even though it is blatant. Swedish commentators again criticizing it "it feels like a lottery everytime VAR comes up".
agreed, I still think that Bournemouth, Newcastle and Burnley are at bigger risk than Watford. But you never know, they were utter gash before Pearson so it could be a false dawn and I hope it is.
Wolves are THE comeback team so I'm still hopeful.
had a solid performance when he came on. wasn't tested very much but I haven't seen anything so far this season to make me doubt that he could do the job.
this is how I saw it as well. well earned points and we should have been three up anyways because that VAR offside call was pathetic, so the game ended up being more nerve-wrecking than it should have been.
solid performance from him. shame he didn't score that great opportunity he created for himself, but I'm sure that will fire him up. should probably have scored twice today.
We boxed them out pretty good I thought. They resorted to a lot of horizontal and backward passes and you could hear the boos.
We were worse second half but I think the injury to Wes had a big impact on that. We had some really dangerous chances in the 2nd too.
Honestly Burnley were chancing a lot of those shots. They played poorly and if we were midtable and away from danger we wouldn't have been so nervous either. Burnley played crap and the home crowd saw the same. We weren't excellent but we were the better team.
