  1. Big positive having him back, and after today we need some positives. We've come quite far given we have been mostly without last season's main men (Kodjia and Jedi), so having him back will only boost us.
  2. I think he has been very lucky, positioning has been really terrible so he's lucky not to have paid for that. But to be fair has also done some good things too so good to know we have a back up for that position, but let's hope we don't need to use it.
  3. To be fair, if those fans with the 'high standards' had their way a few weeks ago, we'd be starting again and nowhere near the playoffs.
  4. Can't argue with him starting Onomah, the player deserved to play today. Maybe that was the problem, doing right by a player based on the last performance but with hindsight at the expense of another player who perhaps would have been better suited in this game. Tough call as a manager, clearly the wrong one today.
  5. Looks like Bruce will be forced into that, so that’s good.
  6. Next game will be a real indicator of what we can expect - not only a must-win to maintain 2 points a game, but also a team very near us which simply we must be beating. Another draw and I might start thinking more about play-offs as the goal.
  7. Yes thank the lord we got through this. Taylor should be nice and fresh.
  8. We've gotten away with him in 2 games, got a feeling he will do us this one
  9. Hutton is drifting far far away from where he should be.
  10. Good to see Jedi on the bench, he will be useful if this gets physical second half.
  11. Nah, Whelan red, I'm calling it now.
  12. Right then, the clocks have changed and it's getting colder, and we've been linked to Carrick. Is it time to start discussing the Jan window? I think so. MANCHESTER UNITED legend Michael Carrick is attracting interest from Aston Villa and Leicester, according to reports. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/872640/Manchester-United-Aston-Villa-Leicester-Michael-Carrick-Transfer-News

    U.S. Politics

I am ADDICTED to this story. Not much coverage this weekend by serious news outfits simply because there are no facts to report, yet. But I sniffed something was up when folks started getting hysterical this week on Twitter throwing numerous slander against Mueller - then this story breaks on Friday. Nice timing, give them the weekend to sweat and make a panic move. The Trump story from the start has been quite spectacular, I can see this ending in an equally spectacular way - only the Americans do things this BIG.
  14. I will hold my hands up, this is based entirely on the fact that they were in League One last year. So wishful thinking. Can't argue with their form, top of the table over last 10, then just nudged into second by us over the last 6. Very competitive up the top this year.
  15. We need SHA to exist, even in our darkest hour they could be relied on to be sh*tter than us, they make us feel better because however bad it gets, at least we are NOT them. God bless em.
  16. We haven't climbed a table like this for nearly a decade.
  17. This is shaping up nicely. I honestly think Sheffield will drop off and Cardiff's form has been pretty rubbish lately. Biggest threat is still Wolves but today's loss will bring them down a peg. It has always been about what we do, but if we can maintain the old 2 points a game ratio, in a few weeks we could be in one of those two top spots. Blues must lose.
  18. Worst result today is a Wolves win, otherwise we could be just 5 points off top 2 spots tomorrow. Cue Wolves win.
  19. Don't worry, anything but 3 points and the daggers will be out again.
  20. Hey this isn't the Gabby thread
  21. Soooo, you're saying FFP means we will never be promoted if we don't go up this year?
