    I won Division 1 with a 3-5-2 but then started getting caned by everybody. It was weird. Got relegated in 3 seasons! It was like mid-80s Villa! Been thinking about a La Liga 5-2-2-1. I had a go at a 3-5-2 with them but it wasn't any good. I had a 3-5-2 Russian League team for a while too, which was great fun. The midfield and attackers were really fast - Welliton, Eto'o, Hulk, Sanchez, Honda. The defence was crap though so I scrubbed it.

    Just changed my FUT formation to the dirty 5-2-2-1. Playing counter attack and defensive. Winning way more than I'm losing. Gone for a BPL side with Lloris, Maicon, Cole, IF Koscielny, Kompany, Kaboul, Touré, Gerrard, Nani, Agüero and then I'm struggling for my RF so have Hulk in there. Had Walcott but I wasn't getting much out of him. Dunno who else from the Prem could do a job for me there.

    The kits go into production about 7 months before they hit the shelves for a club like United so there'd be a few former ST holders would make the cut and a few new ones who wouldn't. Same with all teams I'd imagine.

    From talking to people in my industry who have worked with both Messi and Ronaldo you'd be surprised who they say the more likeable person is off the pitch.

    That's what I mean - I've tried to hate him but went through the phase of grudgingly accepting he was pretty handy to now enjoying watching him play.

    Can't remember much about that book - read it in about 2004 I think. I remember really enjoying it, and his recollection of his grandparents garden, and that's about it.

    I've tried really hard to hate him, I've even managed it. Especially with his ridiculous divey antics. But by crikey this lad can play football. He's the archetypal modern footballer. Fast, strong, can score goals, works hard. The "football is only a live soap opera" part of me would love to see him sign for Real Madrid so I could see a team with him and Ronaldo in it. How good is he now, and how good do you think he could get? And with him, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott - what's making kids from Southampton be able to run so fast?!

    Cheeks are a great buy. Cheap and full of flavour. Cook slowly. Couple of hours. You can also get fish cheeks, and the great George Lassalle has a recipe for cod cheeks. Needs to be a big fish, though... As for calf's head, never had it, but after reading Anthony Bourdin, would love to: I love eating animals as much as the next guy, but there's something macabre about peeling the face off a baby cow, sticking its bollocks inside the floppy result and setting about it with a knife and fork.

    If culpable homicide can mean just a fine and / or a suspended sentence why would they throw away the key for anyone rather than give them, say, a fine and / or suspended sentence?
