  1. With Robinson and Drennan going out it's gotta be a matter of time before this guy and maybe Burke go out on loan
  2. He didn't get his loan extended because they weren't impressed with him. He looks talented but would be better in the lower division . Think Chesterfield's the right place for him
  3. I don't think he'll make it here, and he enjoyed it down at Pompey last time he was there, I still consider them a reasonably big club, I don't think he needs to do enough to stake a claim to get games here. I think he needs to play well enough to get a permanent transfer in January
  4. They must think that he will get some game time, otherwise why loan him? Well it's a youth loan so maybe it was more for him to experience a different pro club setup. Garner is on form at the moment so it will be hard for Robinson to get in the side, and Grayson isn't known for changing a winning side either and they're going quite well at the moment, especially if they win the game in hand
  5. RT @mikeydrennan: Happy to say I've singed for @officialpompey on a month loan! Hopefully I can score a few goals⚽️

  6. Sent him a tweet a few minutes back telling him to stay at PNE for the whole season if he can. They are a good club with some decent youngsters and some veterans who have seen all the lower leagues have to offer. My Dad is a massive PNE fan so it'll be easy to follow his progress personally. They've got Garner and Davies there up front, but I think he offers something different to the other strikers so he should get a bit of game time, but unless he plays brilliant he's unlikely to get into and stay in the 1st team.

  8. RT @FootballJester: Abou Diaby - A professional hospital patient whose career has been blighted by appearances for Arsenal. http://t.co/q4i…

  9. Roy Keane is worshipped as a God in Pohnpei, after visiting the island of Kapingamarangi, in the Federated States of Micronesia in the week that the island was taken back by the sea. All boys in Pohnpei just grow a full beard by the age of 14, or risk being sacrificed to the bearded God
  10. I told my mate that I had a thing for jlaw a while back so when the first lot of pics were releases he sent me them, I sent back the one I thought was by far and away the best one, before (I presume) we simultaneously realised that the pick I was drooling over was his gf who I'd been friends with myself since the age of 11. My head just couldnt cope with it all
  11. I'm happy to put the next four weeks down as write offs. I'll keep watching and being gutted, then it's all down to the QPR game. If we're in the top 8 still after the spurs game in November we'll be doing great. But not great today.
  12. Down to 3rd in the league as scores stand. Disgraceful
  13. I don't know how to describe the feeling but its the feeling I've had whenever anyone has mentioned football for the last 3 years bar the last 5-6 weeks
  14. I can't see anything other than a loss today but we've started well. I think Sanchez will give us good bite in the middle but I hope Westwood isn't out too long
  15. That is amazing considering how the media are constantly rattling on about Southampton, Liverpool and Everton with their amazing youth academy and youth policy, and about all the great youngsters coming through at Arsenal, Utd etc. Interesting that Newcastle are on that list too when they get criticized for buying in too many foreigners (French and Dutch) I was going to point out that our entire midfield and attack was English against Liverpool, with the exception of Weimann (academy), and Hutton + Baker in defence and it doesn't get mentioned as it's a positive thing. Yet when there were something like 3 british players between the 2 sides for Arsenal vs Man City earlier that day i seemed to see the stat everywhere. Really pleased Lambert has got the extension as i don't think at any point over the last few years we could have got a better manager in. My 3 favourite managers outside of Villa before he was appointed were Martin Jol, David Moyes and Roberto Martinez. one of those had said no to us and the other 2 have now got tainted CV's so i'm happy he's staying on
  16. Thought it was worth mentioning the last season we started with 10 points from 4 games, was the last season we beat Arsenal at home, and were top at Christmas. Be nice for Lambert to break a few more records just to have a nice spread of positive and negative records. Also, the lowest we can drop with everything going against us is 5th, or potentially top if results go for us on Sunday. I wouldn't have dreamt such a strong position after the 5th game at the start of August
