He is a good player. I think the players that have left us after looking terrible under Lambert prove that its not the players fault. If Martinez wants you, you're a good player

Is there anybody left on the forum defending him? For me, i feel that most villa fans, after a long sit down and a cup of tea, would be happy enough to say that Lambert is a good manager. He just happens to be a bad manager for us for whatever reason that is. Because of this, he needs to leave and get his reputation repaired elsewhere. Meanwhile we'd almost be better off managerless. Let Lambert go, let the backroom staff go and leave the club in disarray until some lunatic decides buying our club is a good idea We genuinely are a complete mess. Desperate times. To be fair, getting Pulis in now to get us playing well and keep us from relegation only for him to walk out at the end of the season when we're in a stronger position and can attract a better continental manager sounds like a pretty good deal right about now. He wouldn't walk out. He'd laugh down the phone at whoever calls him to query if he's interested. At this point I'd potentially be looking at Simon Grayson or Karl Robinson. They are clearly good managers who should be given a chance, unlike Lambert who has been so many chances its not even funny. He's broken records I hadn't even thought about let alone worried would be smashed.
