  1. Was incredibly bored earlier whilst on a Zoom meeting so decided to try and create the ideal calendar using current tracks and recent tracks. Came up with this list, bear in mind I was trying to try put races that are close to each other to follow one after the other. Aus Bahrain Malaysia Turkey Imola Spain Austria UK Germany Italy Belgium Singapore Japan Canada Mexico Brazil No Monaco, none of the sh*t 3 USA races, no Abu Dhabi, Saudi or Qatar and got rid of the two worst European circuits on the calendar, Hungary and Zandvoort.
  2. What's the weirdest thing anyone had happen in your current save? In mine, Mowbray won the WC with England in 2030 and then was sacked after the 2032 Euros after getting knocked out by Ireland in the 2nd round.
  3. Good race, McLaren and Ferrari finishing top 4 and Alonso getting some points, have I gone back to 2008? I think quite a few serious questions should be asked of Merc. Hamilton leaving at the end of the season, they still have got nowhere near understanding the tech regs despite being 3 years in and are at the cost cap every year and Russell having a habit of binning it when chasing it in the final laps. Don't think he's anywhere near being able to lead a team. Hopefully there's a few more Verstappen DNF's this season as it may make it worth watching.
  4. He was class, but he joined that great Milan team the summer after they beat Liverpool to win the CL and that team was getting old and starting to fall apart. Within a couple of years of joining, Cafu and Maldini had retired, Kaka had gone to Madrid, Ancelotti went to Chelsea and the likes of Dida, Inzaghi, Seedorf and Gattuso were all mid-late 30's and hadn't been replaced. He had that weird loan spell at Chelsea in that season they sacked Mourinho when they were near the bottom 3. Only made two appearances and scored one goal. And of course that goal was against us.
  5. The squad I would like to see for the Euro's is: Pickford, Ramsdale, Johnstone Walker, Alexander Arnold, Chilwell, Colwill, Konsa, Branthwaite, Stones Rice, Mainoo, Ward-Prowse, Loftus-Cheek, Maddison, Bellingham Bowen, Saka, Foden, Watkins, Kane, Solanke And then one of the likes of Palmer, Trippier, Tomori, Grealish, Elliott, Dunk to make it up to 23. But can't wait to see Maguire, Henderson and Rashford start the first game despite being utter s***e throughout the season.
  6. That was s****. But it happens. We got hammered by South Africa in the first summer of Bazball. I've seen so many series where England have played 'proper' test cricket and been hammered in the sub continent. This England team has been for the most part brilliant for the last 18 months. I wouldn't put it past them to come back strongly in the next test.
  7. Some innings from Duckett so far. A century over a run of a ball in India is very special. England of old would have tried to bat out the rest of the day and been 80-5 and heading for an innings defeat. Still got a lot to do tomorrow but I wouldn't bet against them.
  8. Wouldn't surprise me if it was two from each round to begin with for a couple of years and then one per round and before you know it, it's only the final shown on free to air.
  9. Taylor vs Catterall 2 is done for April 27th. Hopefully Catterall gets the result this time and isn't robbed again.
  10. TNT have got the FA cup rights from 2026 onwards. Seems like one game per round will be free to air and that's it.
  11. United Everton Spurs (Main reason being my old man is a Spurs fan) Sunderland Celtic Wednesday Forest AC Milan (Watching the CL growing up and that team of Kaka, Nesta, Pirlo, Maldini, Shevchenko, Cafu, Seedorf etc) Neither Neither
  12. He's been matched appallingly so far, considering Boxxer and Sky paid a fortune to sign him. He's an Olympic silver medalist and practically won everything there is to win in the amatuer ranks. Being matched with a bloke that's got a losing record in your sixth fight is embarrassing given his pedigree. Also, the showboating has to stop. Showboat when your boxing at your boxing at Euro level, fringe world level to make a name for yourself and put yourself on the world stage. But when your boxing blokes with a losing records and pirouetting and taping them on the head makes you look a complete b****end. Match him with a Pitters, Lyndon Arthur or Craig Richards and i'm sure the showboating would soon stop.
  13. According to Transfer Market, the last to do it in the league at least was Agbonlahor in 08-09. 11 goals and 10 assists. Young and Milner both got within a couple of doing it but never managed it.
  14. Didn't expect that move at all, but it's certainly interesting. Also shakes up the driver market for 2025. Red Bull: Verstappen and ? Mercedes: Russell and ? Wonder if Albon might go back to Red Bull or whether Mercedes go for him. Interesting times.
  15. I think Barca could be f***** for the next few years if not longer. They've mortgaged a lot of their assets and future income streams and their squad is threadbare. The likes of Lewandowski and Roberto won't be around for too much longer and the squad is quite frankly sh*te.
  16. Seems like Wood is injured. Almost like playing the most injury prone seamer of the past 10 years as a sole quick wasn't a good idea.
  17. Got to feel for Hartley here, 0-25 off your first two overs in test cricket. Scrimshaw got similar treatment in the summer, but he was playing Ireland and was bound to get a wicket at some point and did so. Kerrigan MK2.
  18. Confirmed that the Spanish GP will know be a f****** street circuit in Madrid from 2026. The current Spanish GP circuit is far from great, but it's so so much better than a street circuit. I'm willing to bet that nearly all of the European historical GP's will be replaced by street circuit's in the next 5-10 years. Street circuit's can f*** off.
  19. Just to pick up on this, when was the last time a team went on a 'proper' tour? Tests, ODI's and T20's in whichever order. It now just seems that England will have a test series against a team, then two or three days later they're playing another nation in ODI's and T20's.
  20. I've said before in the Liverpool thread that I think Klopp has underachieved in regards to his trophy count at Liverpool. But Mourinho has now been fired from his last five jobs, two of which are the biggest in world football. He was brilliant in his heyday of 2003-2010, but he never evolved.
  21. 2003-2010: 6 League Titles 5 Domestic Cups 2 Champions Leagues 1 Uefa Cup 2010- Present: 2 League Titles 3 Domestic Cups 1 Europa League 1 Conference League
  22. Got sacked because they were in complete freefall in the league and Dinamo Zagreb battered them in the Europa League and knocked them out. He's yesterday's man, there's a reason no top clubs will go anywhere near him.
  23. Can't see him at PSG, common sense seems to have finally dropped there and they've realised that they need to build a squad and not sign every big name footballer you can think of in order to win a CL. The only real 'superstar' in their squad now is Mbappe and he's off to Madrid in the summer.
  24. He definitely wasn't successful at Spurs, even by their own low expectations out what success is. Finished 6th in his first year with them and they had them 7th in his second year after only winning 7 out of their previous 20 league games.
