I dont know about racist but his comments supporting Suarez were appalling I agree. Given the proud diversity at our club I think he would have an uphill battle thats for sure.

You cannot compare him to DOL. I want McLeish gone but I have no dislike of the man personally.

I still have a lot of time for Lerner. Great owner. Made a very very bad mistake this season. Needs to fix it immediately but it is still repairable. Not going to e if he lets it fester anther season.

I really dont think it will take much to get the attendance numbers back up again if they act now. We are a big club people have voted with their feet, they can also vote again but the sooner the better. Not attending may become a habit after two seasons.

That alone should force their hand. How much money is that lost? An easy short term fix as well. Not a long term one obviously that will require other things but getting rid of the manager is blindingly obvious right now. I guess Lerner could do a venkys but I think he is a smart man who genuinely wants the club to do well.

I can only disagree with you ciggiesnbeer, I really don't see how anyone could describe Lambert or Martinez as "overrated crap managers". Not with a straight face anyway. And anyone claiming that we wouldn't be better off with the aforementioned managers (as CI is) must be taking the piss. I refuse to believe that anyone could genuinely believe that. I am slightly exaggerating for the lolz but more seriously Martinez has yet to do as well as Steve Bruce did at Wigan and he is very inconsistent. As for Lambert I do think he is this seasons media darling, just like Owen Coyle was last year. he maybe end up being a great manager but I think he is over hyped right now. But again both of them are demonstrably better than mcLeish so I would take them. I would just prefer a big club manager for a big club. It breaks my heart that in the fans mind we were thinking of the ex managers of Liverpool, Man City or Chelsea last year and the board were thinking of Birmingham and Wigan... 8(

Martinez and Lambert are overrated crap managers. Under normal circumstances I wouldnt want them any where near our club. However they are both better than McLeish so I would take them.

I will also note that this myth fans were never behind him is bollocks. Many of us supported him for months before it gradually dawned on us we were turning into Birmingham's playstyle and he wasnt transitioning to a more attractive game. I just dont want to watch his style of play.
