    Deluded. Lot of you. He’s bang average. When he starts performing ill think otherwise. At some point, a few of you are going to question why we’ve conceded as many goals as we have. He’s a large part of why we have. Great, he can pass. Let’s see him defend once in a while.

    Absolute bollocks. Honestly, rubbish. Ramsey gets injured. He moves to the left. Bailey/Diabys form drops, he plays on the right. Luiz is suspended. He plays central. Kamara injuired? Play him centre mid. Tielemans injured. Ok, move him from right mid to centre mid. Absolutely class player and our beating heart. As good as any player might be, they’re only as good as their injury and availability. John has been almost immune from injury all season and played any position the manager has asked based on availability. Everyone on here bangs on about how good Torres, Kamara, Ramsey is. Great. Let’s see them play multiple positions for almost an entire campaign in nearly every match. Silence. McGinn = Class. Villa legend and one of several reasons we are where we are.

    I think it’s pretty obvious we’re not going to win another game this season. Im not even angry. Its been a great effort but we have 11 fit players capable of playing at this level and they’re playing 90 mins every 3/4 days. We just need to hope Spurs don’t shock us by beating Liverpool or City.

    It’s frustrating because if ever there was a chance to beat Brighton at their place (I know we have a good record there), it’s today. They’re depleted and even their manager has come and said they can’t be bothered. And yet here we are. Can we nick one? A shot on goal might be nice.

    No Martinez, no party. Strong outfield XI, mind. Kamara aside, you could argue that’s our strongest XI. Shame they’re completely f******.

    Doesn’t strike me as the kind of player happy to come and sit on our bench. LCB position is Torres’ so where will he play? Saying that, Torres can’t seem to stay fit for more than 5 minutes so we’ll need a rotation option for that role. What about Mings? And what does it mean for Buendia? Will he finally be sold? More questions than answers.

    I’d take a point to be honest. I think the Spurs game bizarrely is of more interest than ours simply because we just look absolutely hopeless and tired at the moment to the point we may not pick up another win all season. If you told me we’d lose tomorrow but so would Spurs, I’d bite your hand off.

    The set of results that had to happen to relegate them even if they won is absolutely bizarre. Youd have got very good odds on Wednesday, Plymouth, Blues and Blackburn all to win.
