Another 'international' player from a different country. I don't think it's a coincidence. I feel were trying to get the Aston Villa brand out there. Or even make it more homely for South Americans to move to us. Who was our last Argentine?

I love that people are dismissing his poor goal return this season and mention that he scored 14 the year before. Surely this season's return is more valuable information than the year before. He very offers little build up, which was Wesley's and Tammy's better attributes. I just can't see this being a good signing.

Romero would be a great signing. Unfortunately I have a friend that supports United and he has been wanting De Gea dropped for Romero all season, really rates him.

Wesley scored 5 in 21 - 0.24 goals a game Wilson 7 in 35 - 0.2 goals a game. Yet some want Wilson to replace Wesley, while Wesley is the better goal scorer.

I'd rather us put the Wilson and Watkins money £40m towards Eduoard. Also the wages that Wilson would want would be the same level as Grealish....

Call me doom and gloom and happy to be proven wrong but we are going to struggle next season if our transfers are Cash, Watkins and Wilson. If I were Jack I would be asking management where's the ambition? You're not exactly enticing me to stay.

Hopefully he is a future RB for England. I always like a RW that's converted to RB, usually means their technique is good and comfortable on the ball.

We are 100% trying our best. We clearly aren't panicking yet and buying people for the sake of it. The fact that we were trying to buy Rashica over the odds of RB offer shows we have the money to spend. Maybe the Ollie Watkins deal isn't done yet because we are still trying to land a higher calibre player and he is the back up if that doesn't come off. I'm a little upset that we haven't got any deals over the line but doesn't mean we aren't trying our best. Sometimes it doesn't come down to money (Rashica).

Our scouting system is abit naff if we're looking at Callum Wilson to be our saviour. Past it and on massive wages.

Is Ollie Watkins a "major" signing? Most people not watching Championship footie would be saying "who?" I can't imagine players like Rashica dying to join us after the signing.

Brentford like us like to keep transfer dealings quiet. No one knew we were in for Konsa until it was basically done. Why is this Watkins deal over all media outlets? I can't see this happening?

I think Jack has all the attributes to play the same role as De Bruyne, with two more direct wingers out wide. Jack collects the ball deep when he is a LW which is so frustrating to see as this gives us less options when we are attacking.
