I'm pretty sure the club has to accept any offer of 18m. Then it's a bidding war over personal terms generally. It doesn't matter if someone bids 18m or 22m, both offers have to be accepted and it's up to the player to pick which club.That's how I interpret it.

I can't be the only that wants a LW so we can put Jack back in the middle. Last season he had to play there because without him being an attacker he had to link up with Trez, El Ghazi and Samatta. If we've got genuine threats in the LW/ST/RW that he can link up with he will flourish again in my opinion. Would like to see more of a 4-2-3-1 formation.

If you're not going to perform when the pressure is on, I'm not really sure if we want you. Villa have been great when the pressure is on. I'd offer £18m for Benramha.

I like the look of Édouard, offers something different to Wesley and Davies. My concern is if we go after Tammy we have 3 strikers that are very similar.

I think the same about Saint Maximin. On his day fantastic but in general the play breaks down when they receive the ball. Need players like Buendia, who are technically gifted with the ball.

If Southgate doesn't pick him in the next England squad, it's basically career suicide for him (Southgate). In any case why the **** have we still got Southgate as a manager. He has failed in every manager role. He clearly can't see talent when it's slapping him across his face too. -

Winning trophies is every players dream but how many players are stars of their own club. He stays here for another 5 years and he'll go down as a legend and best the club has ever produced and had. A statue outside of him. A legacy. That's surely better than just a little medal to be remembered by? We talk about Saunders and Atkinson still. If he stays and our owners are serious, we'll win a league cup or FA cup in the next 3 years. I know it. -
Unless we are buying another MF I don't see this as good business. Him and Hourihane coming on as subs is fine for the next year.

Maybe a misused term that must be annoying. My point was if people are expecting big marquee signings their going to be disappointed.

Were not going to be spending £35-40m on established players. Were going to look for players like Trez and hope they develop into decent PL player.

The start of the Moneyball era is about to begin. Who was the last player we actually made a profit on? Don't most our players just turn to shit and we can't sell them and just run their contract out. I don't think we'll be getting any marquee signings. All players signed will be to come and to improve not big name players in their peak. Will it be enough to keep Jack interested?

I think he'll need time to adjust and it would be good to come abd take Lansbury's seat on the bench and ease him in if we have a midfield of mcginn Dougie and jack. Wouldn't be a starter in my eyes and I personally don't see him as a winger.

You pay for the luxury that it won't take him 6-8 months to settle into a new country and English football. The blokes got talent, it's less of a risk that he won't perform. We got away with it this year but we need a balance between settled players in the English leagues and players that are better value for money but take time to settle.

Get rid of Samatta, he offers nothing. Kenian is a good player to come off the bench. Not alot of defenders can handle his strength. Good player to bring once our main striker has scored 1 or 2 goals and were closing out the last 20 minutes.
