Of course it's hypothetical. Predictions are? Bookies make a living on people making wrong predictions. I was hypothesing. I could be right or wrong. Over the last 11 months Steve Bruce hasn't shown he'll do what you're saying... winning enough games to get us promoted. Hasn't he won 2 out of his last 12 league games? I can comfortably predict the right manager could do better than that. Steve was a sound appointment at the time, we all hypothesed he would get us up and it's looking like we got it wrong. Better to correct your mistakes than being ignorant and saying he still is the best man for the job.

Some people are so narrow minded it's unreal saying fans aren't fans. Some of us can just see the bigger picture than just the next game. Giving him to the end of September is madness to me. I've been very reserved on my thoughts on Bruce. After the Norwich and Wigan games, I thought, he finally gets us. We're the big dogs of the Championship, teams should sit back and be afraid to play us and if they decide to come out us, we'll out play them. We have any managers wet dream of the championship. Our back 4 has 3 premiership quality players. Bree will get there and RDL needs a season getting up to speed again. Either way they're > Hutton and Samba?!? Midfield - Whelan - one of stokes best midfielders for years, onomah is a star in the making, Hourihane top assists last season. Up front -> we have our very own Micheal Owen and Heskey strike force and yet he has no idea how to use either of them. We defend and sit way too deep. It was a joy to watch Bristol City press hard and so quickly all game, while we had defence and midfield 18-25 yards from our goal. Leaving our strikers so isolated. Bruce only knows how to manage small teams, with small mentalities. That's his niché. We are the Man United of this division, all the teams put that little bit more effort and fire when they play us and we need to put teams in their place. We give teams far too much respect.
