  1. The dream scenario. As long as there's a chance, there's a chance.
  2. So, controversial finish to a lot of leagues this season, but we have no need for an asterisk here, so congrats to Rhys! Thanks to all for a fun, and relatively drama-free, season. Although I feel like the points system has worked perfectly well, I've noted the few bits of feedback we did receive throughout and we'll put them to a poll in a few months time. Here's what we do have, for open discussion in the meantime: 1: 0.25 points per carry should be awarded to RBs 2: PPFD (point per first down) instead of PPR 3: Addition of a line backer spot?
  3. Yeah, he let the fans decide his walk on theme (via a poll on Twitter) since he 'didn't know any songs' due to his dislike of music. Very odd young man, he is. Brilliant darts player though.
  4. He's never arsed about it anyway. Apparently he doesn't like music... at all...
  5. I wish Smith would change his dreadful walk-on song. Has literally nothing to do with his persona/image. Even the reason he has it is bizarre.
  6. Yeah, I've seen. As I say, awful situation last night and real life incidents absolutely overrule fantasy football (which, of course, is only a bit of fun). I'm just curious as to how NFL/Yahoo/ESPN etc handle their championship finals, especially as some people (not me) play in money leagues. Personally, if they call it there, it's all good. Main thing is Hamlin pulls through.
  7. Terrible as last night's incident was, I wonder how Yahoo are going to deal with the fact last night's game didn't end. I'm down by 3pts in the final of another league with three players to zero still in last night's game...
  8. Just realised I was going for my 4th title in a row this year! ...although I had Brees in 2019. I've gone from hating Brady to appreciating his brilliance over the years. What he was able to do post-Randy Moss with the Pats is ridiculous. Went years without a true star WR or RB and still won Super-Bowls. The guy is something else.
  9. Funnily enough, he was my QB when I won the VT Championship in both 2020 and 2021. Rule of thumb: no Brady, no championship... at least, recently.
  10. Kamara was top quality today. Doesn't get much better than that. Luiz excellent too. Shout out to Watkins and Lil' Emi too.

    Watches

I love the Grand Seiko watches. I love the innovation and history of Seiko in general though. The 'snowflake' Grand Seiko looks incredible, as does the one you've linked. The only issue I have with them are the alternatives at this price range, but still, you wear what you love!
  12. Needs a re-colouring of his hair to claret and blue.
  13. I used to play it. That GeoWizard bloke from YouTube is from the midlands somewhere. No idea who he supports, but he seems to like football.
  14. I never want to see us play Lurch in goals again. Promising signs at the start of the 2nd half, but we'd have probably been in the lead if we had a top quality striker. A must in January.
  15. Thanks, dude. It's been a fun season. Kinda glad I didn't retain my title as I was becoming public enemy #1 Losing Patterson didn't help either though. He was a beast at the start of the season, but I found it hard to trust him upon his return.
  16. Limped into the playoffs, limped out of the playoffs. Congrats, @maqroll!
  17. I love how all four NFC East teams are, as it stands, qualifying for the playoffs. I also hate this as I'd rather it was just us.
  18. Hardly a classic for the ages, is it?
  19. Ho Ho maHOmes, surely? ...I'll get my coat
  20. The Jags are sneaky good though. Five wins in the last seven. As a Cowboys fan, I was angry last week until I realised how much of an up-turn they're on.
  21. We need to become the club players heads are turned towards, rather than away from. As you say, we really don't deserve this cycle of buy/grow to love/sell all the time.
