Disagree with this Taylor is the only true LB. He's looked ok tonight. I think this team needs time to gel now. Would like to see more attack minded wingers. I'd of started al ghazi ahead of Elmo myself. I can understand the holding midfielder but at home I'd expect to see Hourihane Tuesday as we don't need to be playing a holding midfielder against weaker opposition at home

He is a player who has played at the highest level and worked with the best managers in the game, lampard, Gerrard are all the same and they're getting a crack at it... don't get me wrong there is no guarantee he would be a success and tbh the mind numbing judgement of most villa fans wouldn't have the patience for it but I wouldn't rule it out.... But yeah Mellberg would be a better option as he's already a step ahead of Terry..

We don't need any of these cretins that play the same old shit football... it's got no future in it.. We need a wolves/Fulham style manager who can come in and play some football. Could we not interest some of the support staff aswell, I know that would be down to them individually if they wanted to follow him out the door.
