Apologies if already mentioned....but a Saints fan I know says Ings and Ward-Prowse are really good friends. I'd be good with us signing him but I don't know if he'd be fit for the start of the season or not. Perhaps needs a few weeks to regain fitness as it is a knee problem.

Ward-Prowse is also currently injured.

I saw a comparison chart somewhere and was pleasantly surprised, I can't remember where I saw it though or what exactly the stats were. If he can get anywhere near Greal-hiss in terms of performances and with Buendia we should hopefully be better off. Fingers crossed.

All this My Club, my City, my Home or whatever it was only makes it all seem a little harder to take. Ambition is one thing but it is perhaps 'more' ambitious to stay with an unfancied team and earn success. We know it is much easier to buy success. For me it is worse than Delph, supposedly a Villa fan. However he's just a footballer chasing wealth for his family and future generations, maybe many of us would do the same. Do I like him for it though, of course not. I will not be wishing him well or success as he's not connected with Villa any more. If we can swap Grealish for Buendia, Young, Bailey, Ings, Cantwell or Ward-Prowse we will be better off for it as we aren't Aston Grealish anymore! The incentive for these current Villa players should be massive now and we have future stars on such as Barry, Chukwuemeka and others who can achieve great things in the future. I really hope we beat them next year it will be like a derby when we play them! I feel bad about this like many of you but my middle son has just started to get into football this year. He's six years old and loves Grealish has several kits but the one which has the name of Grealish he said he will never wear again. I find that so sad, no doubt many other kids are heart-broken too. Anyhow, I think we'll be better off without him in the long run.

Moving on from the personal insults... I think there is hope this change does infact galvanise the squad, team and management. We can finally move on from being Aston Grealish; try not to worry about whether or not our 'star player' gets injured. Using the money wisely will add strength and depth. If we can sign one of Cantwell or Ward-Prowse I'd be happy. Someone earlier got their knickers in a twist about my comments about Grealish, if he's leaving I don't care about him anymore and we need to look forward.

Always liked Ings and was often worried when he was playing against Villa. He is similar to Watkins, energy and work-rate. His finishing is top class! Welcome to the Villa!

Yeah the footage seems to have been posted by a few different posters, makes one jump to conclusions that perhaps they were told it's OK to share it? And therefore potentially getting all the hopes of Villa fans well up!

Just a thought about the video from today's training with Grealish posted by Paul Shakespeare. Could he be Craig's Son? Could he be the poster on reddit who called Barkley, Martinez, Bailey and now Grealish? If he is the same, surely he wouldn't have been allowed to post those videos if Grealish was leaving or we'd accepted a bid? Perhaps, and I'm hoping the guests, family and friends who witnessed training today were told to share photos and videos? Hope.
