He scored 20 goals for them last season.. They were shit last season. It appears they were expecting him to score all 60+ goals they needed to be a decent mid-table side.. Personally a striker that scores 20 goals in a season has done his job, it's on the other striker and the midfielders to contribute. Yeah in an ideal world a team wants a player that scores 10+ more than that but he was not their issue last season.

Maybe he saw us and was like "I would have scored most of those chances Ayew **** up" and relished the opportunity.

I guess the Prem club he means is Hull.. The club we were all hoping he would go to as that in "theory" would have freed up Hernandez.

20 goals last season in a side not exactly creating many chances.. We have likely created more chances than Bristol did last season in 5 games. I hope Kodjia thrives.. Also Ayew pass to the word removed, don't treat him like you treat McCormack..

I think I would understand our transfer targets more if I knew what formation we were planning on playing.. Right now we seem to play some kind of 4-3-3.. Yet bidding mega bucks for Hernandez and getting Ings would make more sense if a 4-4-2 was being played, but then we have McCormack as well.. I get that we need to have squad depth but did we sign McCormack to be a squad player and not necessarily first team? Maybe the plan is 4-3-3 with McCormack, Hernandez and Ings all featuring. If I knew the formation we were planning for it would be a bit easier to see who we need.. All I will say is if the Ings talk is a goer and we are still in for Hernandez then a squad with McCormack, Ings, Hernandez, Gestede and Ayew should be netting close to a 100 goals this season combined. All we need is Kodjia and Rhodes and I think we have every striker a Championship team would be gagging for..

So based on all the Twitter bollocks Aston Villa are set to spend another £100 million buying up every good player that would drop down to this division just so our rivals can't have them.. I mean we have been linked to like 12 players today.

Yeah I agree there. They could have done a lot more to make it feel a lot more epic. I feel this is compounded more by bosses like Dancer of the Boreal Valley where the boss arena sets on fire when it finally enrages, just little things like that help. Others like Nameless King having an aerial phase and a ground phase in an arena made of clouds.. So many cool bosses that the final Soul of Cinder was just a bit lame. Here's hoping the DLC 'Ashes of Ariandel' adds some more memorable bosses which seems to be the trend with this developer, they seem to hold onto their truly great content for the DLC.

I think we've been creating enough in the box. Counting shots as chances we have had about 56 chances this season alone and I would say about 12-15 of those were in the box, yeah not a great ratio but with a striker that can actually finish that could easily turn into 12-15 goals. We need a guy like Hernandez.

Not all Chinese owners are epic as shit like ours, I feel for them if we snag their best player..

I have a feeling and maybe I'll be wrong but I get the feeling we have as much money as we want in the Premier League next season if it happens. I mean this season if we do sign Hernandez we'll have spent £60.4 million this Summer in the Championship. Net spend of £40 million.. This is not a club that is strapped for cash at least not showing it.

The final boss is more a context boss as it's the amalgamation of the thousands of chosen undead that have succeeded and failed linking the first flame. That boss has the attacks of many bosses from throughout the series. For lore nerds it's an epic end to an epic series, but as far as bosses go I can see how it can be pretty lame especially considering some of the bosses the game has. ___________________________ @Chindie I have probably watched that trailer several times since it launched and it never fails to get me excited. I just wish they chose the release date better, this DLC could easily be a November/December release rather than the same date as 'The Last Guardian'. I am not sure which game I will load up come October 25th.. Eight years in the making Last Guardian or my game of the year with ease Dark Souls 3. Tough decision..

In a way I was expecting Hernandez to come alive once we lost. Much of our big spending has come after poor performances. We get rocked by Luton and then seemingly switch policy to buying the league. We lose to Bristol and now it seems the £20 mill for Hernandez is now no longer too much.. Maybe this loss won't be too bad in the grand scheme of things after all if it gets us buying in players vastly too good for this league.

Every match apart from Rotherham teams have come out in the second half and absolutely skronked us.. We need way more resolve, or at the very least a better half-time team talk or something. Every team comes out fighting, we come out playing the same football from the first half which isn't enough..

The goals will come. I can't remember which Twitter post it was I think it was a Newcastle based Twitter that was bashing Newcastle because Villa had created 48 chances this season already. We have already added 6 to that this game if that initial number is even close to accurate which I think it is, we had like 16 chances against Huddersfield alone.. That said you don't create 54-ish chances in 5 games without the goals eventually flying in. It's just frustrating right now because they're not going in, but they will.. I have hope.

The better they play the less bad I feel about drawing to them..

Aha this is what I love about Xia as whether he means to or not he is cryptic.. I read it as "AMR = Done".. "Hard work being done on Striker".. "We are working on a loan but it's up in the air". So I see it as three potential transfers but I can see how it looks like the loan is linked to the striker..

Sounds like Xia has set his own deadline. It would leave us 3 days to get our second choice in and the way Xia talks about transfers those appear like they would be easier to do than this one. So by Sunday evening the club will know if Hernandez is Villa bound, if not we have enough time to get in our second choice.. Sounds good to me.

@hogso Yeah at one point I had a fully maxed out ship with every upgrade at +3, still have the fully maxed exosuit/multi-tool.. I say at one point because once I started my journey to the center of the galaxy I downgraded my ship. My thinking was that because upgrades seem to receive a buff when they are installed next to one another. So for instance on the multi-tool having the Grenade Intensity Sigma upgrade installed in a line with the Grenade Intensity Tau and Theta upgrades (+1/+2/+3), the grenade does even more damage than if those three upgrades were not linked. Yet if you can also install all three next to the initial Plasma Launcher mod the grenade damage is even higher. So in my head I thought the same would be true on my ship. The issue is many ships have the Hyperdrive tucked away around other ship parts that can't be broken down. So I had to downgrade my ship to one that would allow me to connect the Hyperdrive to all three (Sigma/Tau/Theta) Warpdrives. In my mind this should have been the key to warping to the center super-fast as it's meticulous and takes a lot of effort, crafting a Warpdrive Tau and Theta take time. Yet what I found though was installing them in a line granted me 50 lightyears more than just having them installed anywhere in the inventory with no thought, so the end result was not worth it. _______________________ Nice on the new ship as well mate!
