I wasnt. I've said all week that Watford wouldnt be the problem. They were never getting anything away to Arsenal without a proper manager. We have to assume that Bournemouth will win but I dont feel we're going to do anything but play for a draw unless we concede. This 45 is going to be torture.

Positives - We're still 17th Negatives - Bournemouth winning, we're playing shit, situation absolutely precarious. That Jack miss could be so costly.

I'm watching the Everton game more than the Villa one atm.

Bournemouth are really worrying me.

I genuinely cant remember being this nervous before a game. I'm actually shaking a little bit. Jesus christ.

Absolutely shitting myself. Way worse than a cup or playoff final. Lord have mercy.

It goes without saying but an early goal for us could seal the entire day. Bournemouth will be going all out for a win obviously but if there is one thing Arsenal are good at, its putting shit teams away at home. If Watford go for it, which they will have too if they find out we're winning then Arsenal should clean up. Bournemouth really worry me. If they they are 2-0 up at half time and we're drawing or even losing then it gets very ugly, very quickly. I cant think of anything worse than us having to chase the game with time running down needing a goal. Sunday is going to be one of the hardest days of being a Villa fan ever. Sure we've had cup finals and playoff finals but to get relegated on the last day when we are in a great position is something I dont want to even think about.

This is definitely a game where no fans in the stadium helps us. A safe West Ham with their fans loving to see them put us down could have a created a horrible atmosphere for our fragile team. In an ideal world, Arsenal are 3-0 up after half an hour which would at least make us know we only need a point to guarantee safety. I dont agree with the people who are saying we have to go all out for a win. That's just crazy talk. I say we keep it tight, play our game, obviously hopefully take the lead but also see where we stand after the first few minutes elsewhere. We dont need a win or a draw, we need to match Watford's result and keep an eye on what Bournemouth are doing. It's a game of chess, not a siege. We do what we need to do.

If we were going to stay up, we all assumed it would be by beating West Ham and hoping results go our way. To be 17th with a game left and favourites to stay up is just mind boggling.

2 goals in 55 games and he's 22 remember, not 18. He's nowhere near PL standard and I'm not even sure he'll have a Championship career either.

Forgetting the miss (it happens), he lost the ball everytime he got it and misplaced every pass. It was a shocking performance and could have cost us the game and potentially, our place in the league. Unless we're 4-0 up with 10 minutes to go, I dont want him anywhere near the pitch on Sunday.

I'm far more worried about Bournemouth than Watford. The saving grace is that both of them are away.
