We're a better team without him, on current form at least. No doubt about it.

That's great. Any thoughts on today's game?

This why resting players or concentrating on one competition is nonsense. The players are fired up BECAUSE they're won a European tie. Tiredness only exists when teams are losing games, not winning.

I think Diaby has a clause in his contract that if he attempts to beat a man, gets docked a weeks wages.

At this stage of the season, not beating teams who have nothing to play for feels like a slap in the face doesnt it? Why cant they just do the right thing and down tools for us?

Pretty much all this in the first half. Clumsily gave away the pen. Nearly scored with that shot. You basically have to take him, roots and all, or dont take him.

As much as I criticise Diaby, and rightly so, I would love him to have a good game today. We **** need him too as well.

Yep, all of that was total garbage. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

Thanks for that, I wasnt aware that my opinion doesnt have a direct effect on our manager. Now I know. Another tired comeback in a discussion. Did I say I know more than the manager? It's just my opinion. Like yours or anyone else's.
-
This is just total bollocks. We were hoofing it long or barely putting two passes together unless it was in our own half. There was no gameplan for Diaby to run them ragged. If there was, it failed spectacularly because he barely saw the ball. The reason Bailey caused trouble when he came on is because he's better player, takes men on and actually looks for the ball. Not because of anything Diaby did.
-
No obviously that's not what I meant. I would have played Rogers or someone else. My point was even with Bailey injured, I wouldn't have started him.
-
Yes so take that tired argument somewhere else.

They're doing their job. Angry Frenchmen will be waking up this morning gnashing their teeth and wanting be outraged by Emi's behaviour. The French newspapers are just giving those fans what they want to read. Don't hate the players, hate the game.
-
Cash is clumsy, has almost zero awareness and has a mistake in him almost every match. But you cannot deny that he makes things happen. He was on the end of that nice move for our first shot. Gave the keeper a stinger later on and of course, scored the goal. Beautiful penalty too.
-
It is odd that anyone who dares to criticise him is jumped on by the usual suspects. The statistics don't mean much to me because the eye test is far more important. I dont trust him at all in big games or against top opposition. It was mistake to start him last night, even with Bailey carrying a knock. Games like that are not for him. His lacklustre performance was inevitable.
