  1. Whats the general feel so far then? Worth getting?
  2. 1. Maybe they couldn't afford either? Maybe they live close to Swindon or couldn't get that specific night off work? 2. Cheapest Season Ticket for Villa starts at £325.00 Yes but it does come into it, season ticket holders who went to the earlier rounds of the cup got tickets, I know lots of ST's who missed out. Just because you've been to two games why should someone who's been to 3 home games, by the time Swindon comes round they will have attended 4 and this season will attend 19 minimum miss out? If we start alienating season ticket holders we'll lose fans, its as simple as that, if you want a good chance of attending these games, shell out what they do
  3. Check what block it says then check the back of the tickets?
  4. Hard to judge, Moyes has kept Everton within the top 8 more 90% if not 100% of the time he's been there with little - no budget. Lambert has had one premier league season with Norwich albeit a very good one. I get the feeling Lambert will leave as soon as the next big offer comes along, wheras Moyes is dedicated to Everton
  5. Been told by a Swindon fan the Merlin is just 2 minute walk from ther ground. They usually have a bar outside the away end ran by the club but its not in operation for us From Football Ground Guide: "Away fans are treated to their own bar, called Bar 71, which is located by the away turnstiles. The County Hotel right by the ground, did not allow entrance to away supporters on my last visit. Best to continue down County Road and seek out the Cricket Club that sits behind the Arkells Stand. As Mark Osborne from Swindon adds; 'On match days home and away fans can park on the cricket ground (for a small fee) and then have access to a drink in the cricket club. This is a very friendly (as well as cheap) club that always welcomes away fans'. I would echo these comments but also add that you can still get into the cricket club (there is no charge) even if you have not parked there. Please note though that the Cricket Club facilities are not available when the Cricket Club is playing a match. This doesn't happen often but can do towards the beginning and end of the football season, when fixtures overlap. Audrey MacDonald a visiting Hartlepool United fan, recommends 'The Merlin' on Drove Road, near to the magic roundabout. 'Away fans are welcome and they have Sky Sports showing on 12 television screens and even in the gents (according to my husband)'. Alcohol is available within the ground to away fans in the Arkells Stand (but not in the open Stratton Bank End), otherwise if you arrive early Swindon town centre is a 15 minute walk away." http://footballgroun..._town/index.htm At a guess, The Merlin is the pub most Villa will use
  6. There all giving it large on Twitter over this "Grudge Match" - anyone really care about them? It shouldn't take a bunch of farmers to show our support to Lambo, Fulham shown us that were all behind him, couldn't care less what Norwich got to say/sing. Its all about the Villa The atmosphere can be good down VP, we need to get it rocking again

    Relegation

Were not that bad, we keep the ball well, before Baker got injured on Saturday I think that was the strongest defence I've seen at Villa since O'neill, Berbatov was in Bakers pocket all game. We lack the final ball, Gabby runs himself into the ground, unfortunately its always into a dead end but he was the only spark in the game. Fulham weren't good either, both teams lacked a creative midfielder and we matched them all game and had Benteke got his scoring boots on we would of had a point. Aside from Everton and Southampton, we haven't played badly all season. Gotta feeling we'll destroy someone soon, same feeling applies for Saturday... UTV
  8. Looking forward to this FOURTH round tie
  9. We won't sell out here, its a lot of money 3 weeks before Christmas for a shithole
  10. Just coming on to ask this, must be tickets left I'd say 4 and a half/5000 Villa be there. Seems to be alot of people love this away
  11. So you pay hundreds of pounds to watch them, and you can't get a ticket for a game that is your 1st chance to go to an away game this season, but someone who paid 20 quid to watch 2 games takes your place? Those 2 games could be someone attending their 1st matches as Villa fans, should they get priority ahead of someone who's been going down the Villa 10 years?
  12. http://www.friendsoffulham.com/forum/index.php?topic=25456.0 Yep, Fulham seem to think its going to be a rather comfortable 4/5 0 win in their favour. I really do hate yuppys
  13. They got priority on cup games before to secure their seat? OR do we have to go down a new route and sell "cup season tickets" They shell out hundreds to follow us through the season, there is no problem with them getting tickets for this
  14. Intersting that were on same pricing/slightly cheaper than our friends in the slums across the city and were a league above them. Proud to be one of the few cheaper clubs left, although I still think its too much!
  15. Two interesting comments from friends of Fulham forum: If England where a club side, who would they be? And their match thread
  16. Fans with larger away follwings get charged £43 at VP
  17. Started 5 weeks ago, and as of last week I'd lost half a stone. I'm fairly fit, qualified gym instructor and know what I'm doing. When I hit 18 though beer and kebabs on nights out took over my life. 2 yeras later and I'm paying the price. I love the feeling of coming out after a good session. Can feel the difference already, even though its a complete pain in the arse having to buy a new pair of jeans already
  18. @alexvilla1 If I don't follow back, just tweet me and remind me, phone doesn't always show who follows me
  19. Villa win. I feel confident this season, Lambert teams have a good attitude and play the right way. Confident we won't lose
  20. Complete sell out according to the Fulham site.
  21. Looking forward to this one, in the neutral end, new flag is making its 1st outing which I'm excited for. Great away day! Any other "away pubs" than the Eight Bells?
  22. Pre ordered it 2 weeks ago, late out this year isn't it? Best football game ever made by a long shot! Buzzing for it
  23. Because they paid a couple of hundred quid at the start of the season?
