  1. Tell that to your own fans. Like I said, had your fans not acted like complete numpties during the minutes applause, there would have been no need for the no respect song.
  2. Their recent league record is W2 D1 L6. Despite their mouth there not in the world beating form they like to think they are. Tesco Bags are there for the taking.
  3. I'm only going by what I've been told by fans that joined in with it. I was sat next to the Albion fans in the North Stand, I never heard the No Respect song.
  4. See the thing is, its incredibly cringey and small time but it doesn't bother me, if I'm honest I just laughed at the obsession of it all. What wound me up, was when I was having the same convo to 3 different Tesco fans and all 3 said "its because you do the Petrov applause and expected us to do it last time" 1. Taking the piss out of a tribute to a cancer victim? Bit of a cheap laugh really isn't it? 2. No, the majority of us didn't expect you to join in the applause, I just didn't expect to see 20/30 grown men pissing themselves laughing and pointing towards us calling us rocket polishers during the 19th minute. I sang "no respect m'lord" to them. That was the 1st and last time I sang that song, they genuinely showed no respect I hope our fans don't react to the 8th minute applause on Saturday, I hope sing over the top of it. And please Villa fans, no one sing no respect my lord to them
  5. For atmosphere Royal Oak in West Brom is good for a mix of home and away. Be aware though, devious bastards like to wait til the majority of away fans go then try to put the fear into you. That won't happen til they completely outnumber you though so you'll be alright until 10 mins before KO
  6. Villa Rose Tavern is the one were going too. Usually a lot of Villa in the Briar Rose early doors before moving onto Royal Oak
  7. Royal Oak is the only one I've seen, heard the Vine mentioned. A lot of Villa will be drinking in Jewellery Quarter
  8. Q1. Has the season so far gone as you expected? Nope, I expected a mid-table finish, since our win at Lpool somethings gone horribly wrong. I still think we'll overturn Bradford, so a Wembley appearance and survival would be a success in my opinion Q2. The transfer window is currently open, where do Aston Villa need to strengthen most? An experienced central midfielder and defender is much needed, get them too in and we should survive Q3. The game at Villa Park finished 1-1. What were your opinions on that game? Fair result? I thought we edged it, draw was maybe a fair result Q4. You've had some pretty poor results recently, do you have any doubts over whether Paul Lambert is the right man for you? No doubts on Lambert, good manager with no backing and not allowed a wage budget Q5. You're in a relegation battle, do you reckon you shall survive and which three clubs shall be relegated? With the right signings, we'll be fine. But whether Mr. Lerner gets his chequebook out is another matter Q6. Which players should we be wary of in your side, and who do you fear the most in ours? Errrm, Ron Vlaar won't pose an attacking threat, but he certainly will add a well positioned, calm, experienced head in the middle. Gabby is due a goal and he used to love a derby, if he's in inspired form then we all know what he can do. Hopefully Bent returns, lord knows we need his goals. For you, Ridgewell always worries me, one day he's gunna score against us. But Odemwingie is the main worry Q7. Score predictions. Overall I'd say depending on what Villa side shows up. If we play like we did on Saturday then theres no reason we can't win if we learn to take our chances. 2 open goals missed, hit the cross bar and 2 good saves on Saturday. You never know 1 - 2 Odemwingie (56) Gabby (8, 78)
  9. We should have battered their right back, he looked shaky and brittle, they were utter gash particularly at the back. How we never scored or even really looked like scoring I'll never know, sign of relegation I fear
  10. 2,500 Villa going all the way to London at 45 odd quid is a bloody good effort!
  11. Good points, nobody expected an easy game tonight. Great fight to win it in the end
  12. Can we stick a nail in Pubeheads coffin please?
  13. Interesting that they think they outplayed us. We were comfy in the 1st half, and apart from 2 seperate 15 minute spells, they didn't really worry me. Their 2nd goal seemed to wake us and there was only one team going to score from there. All 5 goals tonight were great finishes
  14. I hope to never see Hutton in a Villa shirt again. Westwood is cup tied and Insomnia is injured
  15. Answering my own question, http://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,1071385
  16. I just thought that we'd have a little bit of money compared to Rangers who are still in money trouble.
  17. http://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,1071517 - "You only come to see the Villa"
  18. Sorry for being nosey, but could you not meet at ground?
  19. Thats bollocksed it up for me then. Hopefully someone will be driving from Evesham or Evesham lions will be making the trip for this one. Anyone from the group on here?
  20. I thought that about Carson. Lets be honest, it never works out for them, relegation looms. Are they any closer to admin?
  21. As for the locals being out, not really worth mentioning, there will be too much police tonight for anything to happen. And the segregation in the Arkells stand has been upped since an incident with Bristol Rovers a few years ago
  22. The Merlin seems the best bet tonight. Straight over the Magic Roundabout and down Drove Road, 5 minute walk tops
  23. Worried about Doncaster 05 repeating itself, Wembley seemed a cert that year Anyhow, the majority of Swindon fans who have heard about our 19th minute applause will join in. Can we please not sing "no respect my lord" - it just shows us up
  24. Season ticket holders spend the most amount of money, its stated that they get priority when they buy the ticket, it really is as simple as that. Same as when we get to Wembley, they will be rewarded for spending their money. If you want the privalidges they get, buy a season ticket
