  1. If they drink so much that they end up in nightclub fights, then yes, I'd say they DO have a drink problem. One night of having too much to drink and having a row with someone constitutes them having a drink problem? :? Yes, I think it does. You can have drink problems without being an alcoholic. The general usage of the term 'social drinking' seems to have changed - many young people nowadays seem to consider that it includes getting wasted and behaving like an arsehole. I'd say that anyone who thinks that needs to take a long hard look at themselves. Anyone who thinks that AND is supposedly a professional sportsman needs to look twice as hard. And no, I am not teetotal. You act like getting pissed and having a fight is a new concept in Britain?? Then blame our young people of the current generation? I dont seem to remember the Vikings, Romans or any other people who have lived on these lands acting any differently
  2. Dont some Zulu`s run the doors at that club? would not put it past them rocket polishers to stir up some trouble with the Villa players
  3. Its unlikely but its a funny old game. no complaints if we go down we have been dreadful.
  4. Aston Villa FC have made literally hundreds of players and also agents very very rich men in the past 12 years. Its a a money train to ALL of them and nothing more.... What do we as the fans and lifeblood of the football club have to show for all this money spent on these so called top players representing us??....Not even one bloody cup win!! No wonder we are all so pissed off and have had enough eh!!
  5. I will breath a huge sigh of relief Before Faulkner hires Paul Ince
  6. Trotting out "Premier League experience is a MUST". He said it. What he should have said is... "Success managing a Premier League team is a MUST" Faulkner is the clown who got Eck One of the worst decisions in the history of Aston Villa and one that 99 per cent of the fans predicted  But.. .but... he had a letter from Sir Alex! That was comical that article . Just shows how little Lerner knows about football. Anyone who knows anything about the English game knows that old Sir Alex talks some absolute bollocks at times!!
  7. People have to make a stand and say enough is enough. Its all well and good saying stand by the club but when the lunatics are running the asylum and making millions of pounds per season from it and living the good life without trying hard, whilst all we get is abject misery then action is required

  9. Im starting to get really grouchy about the state of the club...its a shambles from top to bottom. Anything is possible with our manager in charge he is bloody clueless and always has been! Finishing 3rd in the SPL with Rangers is the ultimate embaressment never mind Blues going down twice. The man clearly lacks the desired levels of intelligence I would want in my Villa manager and he ALWAYS comes out with excuses. Irrelevant of the Villa players on ridiculous sums of money and not performing I would be pissed off with Eck screaming at me from the touchline every 10 seconds... Bloody well done Wigan I say we on the other hand have no hope. We may just survive by default but god help us if Bolton beat us...
  10. Spot on mate. Does not fit in with the Victimpool image though.
  11. Im bored of it all now its been remembered its very sad lets move on.
  12. I feel like a baying Roman in the arena!! break his legs Hutton!
  13. HAHA These players are on Millions every week.......They are shite
  14. Notice our players have been arguing amongst themselves a lot
  15. I wonder if Sunderland got any boo`s today?? The O Neill myth is soon to be unveiled
  16. 15 Villa 32 7 14 11 35-44 35 16 QPR 34 8 7 19 38-57 31 17 Wigan 33 7 10 16 31-57 31 18 Bolton 32 9 2 21 36-65 29 19 BB 34 7 7 20 45-72 28 20 Wolv 34 5 8 21 34-73 23 What a sad state of affairs... All those teams except for maybe Wigan (because they play decent fooball) deserve to be relegated
  17. The problem I have is our manager and his philosphy. Elite teams?? Do you think he learned any lessons from Wigan v Man United?? Its 11 v 11 and if we come out fighting, closing them down at every chance like Wigan did, then we will always have a good chance. I would rather get beat 5-1 than go down to a boring 2 or 3 nil loss. And I think I speak for every Villa fan when I say if we attack man united but still get beat none of us would really care. The lion is on our shirt for a reason Mcleish!!
  18. I dont begrudge anyone getting worried statistically speaking two bad weeks of fixtures and we would be right in the thick of it. Got to say though looking at the premiership table where Villa are as a club is very sad to see.
  19. No arguments if we go down. We are largely awful.
  20. Watch us get done by Liverpool by 2 or 3 goals...even though they are getting beat by all and sundry at the minute!!! Hope Im wrong though...
  21. "Thanks for the 65k a week guys. Yes I think Villa are a massive club" ...
  22. Eck`s interviews are also a source of great frustration to me. He does at times come across as a simpleton and someone lacking the desired level of intelligence needed. The excuses he has come out with on numerous occasions have been bewildering.
  23. Not over and over about the same thing no We KNOW the board wont sack McLeish, i've even heard he wouldn't be sacked even if we got relegated Yet people just go on and on and on about him over and over For what reason I don't know How do we know they wont sack him?
