It wasnt long ago that we went to SJP and played them off the pitch in the first half, with slick passing football. The mark of a good manager is one whose teams can play with good rythm like Swansea and Newcastle do. Ecks tactics seem to produce the complete opposite of rythm...a boring dull game which often ends in a draw or a loss. Not creative thats for sure...

I have just watched Athletic Bilbao play more football in 90 minutes than all our players have produced for Eck this season (and anyone who has watched the match tonight will know I am not joking.) Makes me wonder if the whole mindset at Villa and in England is wrong. Eck needs a vid of Bilbao tonight sent to him with a message from all of us saying that how we all want Villa to play!!! At Villa we should never give a manager more than a two year contract. Why we insist on throwing money at managers and players is anyones guess lads. I would go to the lower leagues and shell out on a few decent players with fire in their bellies rather than prem already made millionaires.
