I've an awful flu-like chest infection right now, so there are two boxes waiting to be unboxed. I'm frustrated.
So for now I am giving away a prize, which is great if you love Star Wars!

So I finally managed to get the video edited and online. I am a massive geek, so I really enjoyed this one. I hope you do to.
Really feel I got value for money this month.
It was the 14th of February this year, when the Sherwood love affair with Villa started. The following day saw the first signs of Sherwood's influence, when he visited the dressing room at halftime to help inspire the team to a 2-1 win over Leicester in the cup. Before that, we were heading for yet more disappointment - with another frustrating first half performance, the sort we were used to under Lambert. But after leaving his seat in the stands and giving a morale boosting talk, a different V
I've seen some really bad things happen at Villa, in my time as a fan. Losses in league cups to lower league teams (Scunthorpe, Sheffield United) but I have never felt so deflated and depressed as I do at this moment.
Don't get me wrong, Bradford deserve their massive achievement 100% and I wish them all the best for the final.
But whilst this is their finest hour, this is also my clubs darkest hour and I am not sure we can pull this around in time to save our premiership status.

It's become a matter of great discussion, about how important Darren Bent is to our future prospects and success. For what it is worth, if we had Young and Downing supplying from the wings, I would have Darren Bent in the team every single week. The problem is, we do not create the chances Darren thrives on, and thrived on under the attacking threat from both Downing and Young.
Simply, without the ammo, Darren is less of a threat.
In my eyes, we cannot risk playing somebody who offers so l
Absolutely everyone in the world should watch every one of Unai’s press conferences. He is such an inspirational man. He just lives the improve every day mantra. I have full on man flu today but after watching that I feel like I could run a marathon! What a manager we have. I hope he never leaves. UTV!
I assume the brief was to keep the old lion (due to decades or familiarity and ease of reusing merchandise/labels/etc), so we can't use the new lion.
It was also presumably to incorporate our full name in place of AVFC, keeping the star and adding the year.
And I'm guessing the final requirement was that it must have the same core colour arrangement to retain the sense of familiarity and association with our recent past.
Freedom to change the shield shape, but it has to be a shield.
It leaves little room to improve it. If the brief also said the yellow must be the same yellow then there was never any hope and whoever set the brief should be fired.
But assume there was room to play around with the shade of yellow, then they could easily have made it darker, and kept the Aston Villa text at the top and it would be miles better than what was leaked.
I really don't understand how they came up with what is so fundamentally flawed and brings back all the issues that we had with it that caused it to be replaced in the first place.
If someone wanted to offer a revision using my guidelines above (but not keeping the same yellow) I'd be intrigued to see how good a designer could make it look.
(Also, the succes we've had with the new lion should mean we are glad to be associated with it and should now take precedence, but for now assume its going the way of the dodo)
Wilson had laid one on a plate for Young a moment earlier and he'd missed. Glad they got it the right way around at the second attempt and another one for MacGoals.
