sweetcorn
Kick off was my choice. (Atari ST) I actually damaged my laptop in france playing Kick off on an atari emulator - Played in a rain storm under an umbrella with my eldest brother - worth it! The laptop did actually work again and was promptly sold! Shame that you cannot get a ZipStik for a PC
Grogan_Avfc
I voted PES, PES 3 was the best one, I was addicted.
Straggler
PES for me, it always had the edge on gameplay, even back in the day. I did start my career on Kick off though, so it is responsible for the countless days of my life whiled away infront of a tv screen.
sweetcorn
Pes has definately been a great game to play, however, Kick off involved real skill

BOF Posted September 6, 2006 Moderator Share Posted September 6, 2006 Kick Off 2 (the normal one). It will never ever be beaten for seat-of-your-pants gameplay. And the keepers were bloody good too.
paddy
Glad to see no-one is deluded enough to vote FIFA (though 96 was pretty enjoyable).
Jez
Pro Evo is best by some way for pure footy. Fifa etc can be fun to play but for realism its gotta be pro evo
