If you gave Big Sam the Man Utd job I would expect him to win the league.
I wouldn't. You're underestimating the significance of one key factor of Man Utd's success - baconface.

Just because some managers do well with relatively small clubs does not mean they will do will at the biggest ones. Take MON for example. Did very well with Leicester but not so well with a bigger club like us, when you take into account the funds he was given. We just couldn't push on from 6th under him. He's a limited manager. So too is Allardyce.

Think the next England manager should not be a long ball merchant and this really only leaves Hodgson but at Liverpool and Inter he struggled to get the respect of senior players.

Harry could get their respect but be gong back to hoof ball to Crouch or Carroll

Fat Sam would have no chance of winning the league at Man Utd. The multi-millionaire players would just not respect him.

Once Fergie finally fooks off any manager, even Mourinho, is going to struggle. Just his influence over refs gets them an extra 10-15 points a season. He wrote the book on gamesmanship, surrounding the ref, playacting and blagging a few extra minutes of injury time. Any other manager would'nt get the same treatment as Fergie or his teams.

Win win situation really if redknapp takes the job

Cant be arsed with England anyway atm we really are overated at international level and always persist with the usual furniture of Gerrard and Lampard during tournaments i dislike Redknapp and if he takes the job he will be limited in what he can do as a manager what good will the wheeler and dealer be when it comes to managing a team with no transfers at all and no extended deadlines to work within

Plus it means spurs will go tits up in the process as well as they will lose the best manager they have had in a long time someone who knows the english game inside and out they will then go back to some foreign out of touch with the Premier League manager such as Ramos and fall back into midtable mediocrity and transition along with us for the next 100 years.

The England manager should be English and the FA should enter into contracts with managers that always expire on our exit from the next World Cup tournament, at whatever stage, as a matter of fixed policy.

The exception would be the next England manager, who would be offered a 6 year contract, with a one way get out clause after two years (the next World Cup). The salary should be attractive, but heavily incentivised, certainly not the stupid amount of salary paid to Capello, and the maximum age of the new man should be 55 ( I appreciate that this can't be written down, but if you interview and reject Harry and Woy you can get around ageist accusations)

The new man could be a virtual unknown, but should be given the tools to do the job and build something, hence the long contract.

And he should be English, not foreign, and most certainly not from one of the other 'home' nations.

Spurs will get Ancelotti, who is streets ahead of Redknapp.

Totally. If you do well at the world cup, you're contract is renewed, if you don't then it isn't.
