Got rid of 3-4 players got Yaya Sanogo on Loan for 3 months and finally got Griffiths (800k) Adel said he was tempted to go bolton, I quickly offered him a new contract so hopefully he accepts it and doesn't leave. Thought it was all for nothing! Since then, gone 7 unbeaten and only conceded 3 in those games. So going fairly well but we'll see. Problem is, I'm about 300k in debt. Out: Emile Heskey - £3.6m Stiliyan Petrov - £3.2m Moustapha Salifou - £500k Brad Guzan - £2.2m Stephen Warnock - £3.5m John Carew - £2.3m James Collins - £6.75m Stephen Ireland - £6.5m Habib Beye - £575k into my second season now and so far results have been amazing: the 5-3 against Liverpool was probably the best result, 1-3 down after about 60 mins, brought Fonz on and he scores a hat-trick within 15 minutes of coming on. villa4europe Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 did the treble with chelsea, league, LC, Fa cup did shit in the CL though got knocked out by marseille bought in neymar (who was awful) babacar (who was even worse) ganso, galeano, santon on loan, luiz started moaning so i had to sell him for £2m! struggled to score all season but didnt conceed many either 2nd season bought in rakitic, poli, santon, mexes and musachio (sp) sold benayoun and zhirkov, going to take over the world... or at least top fergie, never done it before, Andy why doesnt the LC count as a minor cup?
