Yeah…doesn’t work on my iPhone. 

Again, I’m sure this will be moved into site issues shortly. But just download the GIPHY app and it’s a piece of piss. Won’t do it from the website for whatever reason.

@Genie post has resolved it for me. The copy pasting the link into an address bar first and then copying that is what did it….using the tenor site so not having to download any apps.

I find it interesting that the image displaying to me to represent the boring thread is my from post about pub signs. Unless it’s a different image for everyone.

That still sounds like more hassle than usual. On Giphy you just hit the chain icon (copy link) or click to enter the gif itself and click share, then click the gif link.

Yeah. No. Still not working. 

I could do a load of screen shots to show you. But I’m not terribly bothered. I’m of the view gifs should be used sparingly anyway.

But the GIPHY app. Easy.

This is not a link to a gif. It's a link to a page with a gif on it. You must paste (as plain text) the URL of the actual gif.

It's still a link to the page, not a gif. That's part of their financial model, they want you going to their site so they get the ad revenue. You'll have to find another site which allows a link to the actual gif.
