I don’t think I want Rogers

Why not?

He has taken them to Europe on multiple occasions.

The Rodgers and Leicester cycle is simply over. It's very normal in football.

Don't let that overshadow the good work he has done.

You also have to look at the players they've lost over the years and managed to stay relevant without massive spending. This season they signed a championship goalkeeper to replace an established PL keeper and one of their best players while replacing their best CB with a 15m punt from Ligue 1.

They made absolutely no attempt to move forward, even if they had to sell their star player - surely use more of the 70m to reinvest and fix the issues.

I don't think Rodgers is a top quality manager but he's certainly better than it looks right now.

Who else would you guys go for? I would hope you don't just bin Gerrard for the standard 'bring in Fat Sam to keep us up' type short term move.

Because I don’t like the guy, and football changes quickly. Plenty of managers who’ve looked good for a while fade out and become history. I see that in Rogers. He reminds me of Allardyce

I just want a proper football coach.

If Brighton want £50 Million for Potter, lets pay it! Worth it.

We’d bring him in and he’d turn into a boring, defensive, predictable manager. See: every manager that’s ever joined Villa

Rodgers is known for being a very good coach.

The manager side of things is where he's been criticized.

I think he is what we need right now. Some proper coaching.
