Arturo Vidal being Arturo Vidal getting sent off by getting himself 2 yellow cards withing a minute. The 89th minute to be precise.

Busquets also suspended for the return leg.

I’ve never seen the double yellow like that before. Ref gave him 2 together for a tackle and then a stupid head pushy thing. Both valid yellows. What an idiot. Clubs should fine players for ruling themselves out like that.

There were 2 crosses put on a plate for him and he was on his heels for both of them. Hope it's down to rustiness because he's usually alive in the box.

Hasnt he only returned from injury at the weekend?

And he created the two goals for Gnabry.

Season of his life, and that's saying something.

What's the record for most CL goals in one season?

I've answered my own question - it's 17.

Lewandowski now has 11 and a possible 6 more games. I reckon he will do it!

Haaland has 10...

I really like Haaland but I will reserve my judgement until he has a full season of scoring consistently at this level. He only broke through at Dortmund (granted, after a great spell at a lesser league) so he has plenty of time to achieve great things.

And I would wager Bayern will go further than Borussia in CL.

Next season (if he is still at Dortmund!) will be interesting though!

Yeah Dortmund may very well be out after the next game, Bayern will not be.

Lewandowski with a knee injury, out for an expected 4 weeks.

Might still be back for the quarter finals hopefully.
