advert problem

Don't really see a place to put this, but if VT is going to put banner ads at the bottom of my browser on every single page I visit, I see no difference in keeping my ad block on:

 

 

I kept my blocker off when the ads were on the side, but if they will be banner ads, I will just keep it on. Both are just as annoying.

Unless I'm misreading, no-one is getting these on Chrome. So there's another possible fix.

Correct. I’ve switched to chrome on iOS and not had a problem.

yep i'm getting it on my iphone using chrome tried reinstall chrome, clean cookies.. same issue

I get this on Chrome on the iPad and safari on the iPhone. Can’t visit the VillaTalk on my iPhone anymore and it took 4 attempts to be able to post this. Both most recent iOS. 

Should add, this is as a guest or logged in.

Getting this too, I’m amazed I’m able to post this. Needs sorting as not getting enough time to post. Safari and chrome on latest iOS on iPhone. Really annoying and pretty much making site unusable

I’ve been zipping around the site for 15 minutes or so and all appears to be well! Cheers limpid!

I've reported this to the upstream ad provider that I've blocked.

I've also marked this thread to lock in a few days so that it doesn't get reused.

I've enabled the ad unit again. If the problem comes back, email editor @villatalk.com
