I used to enjoy watching this tournament around the turn of the millennium, that was when the likes of Cameroon and Nigeria had high quality squads but we saw everytime in the world cup how chaotic and generally embarrassing those two are. Group C looks a decent group, Senegal usually flatter to decieve in these tournaments but they have some very good attacking options in their line up so could be an each way bet. As ever I'll be rooting for the Cape Verde Islands who are actually fairly regular at AFNC these days. It's not out of the question they could make the world cup one day. Also I can't believe how far Nigeria have fallen, probably to do with all their future talent now being in their 50's Can't look past Algeria, playing the best football out of everyone atm. Poorly organised teams who don't look too bothered or too fit and half empty stadiums with no atmosphere. An Ebola outbreak might liven it up a bit...
