Harden has to take the shot though. Very little time left and after he pushed off on Curry, he had a lot of space for a shot... so he gives it to Dwight Howard at the 3 point line and motions to get the ball back!?

Hopefully GSW take big leads in all of them, it forced Houston to try and play basketball. Harden is the biggest bore to watch otherwise, nobody wants to see 50 free throws a game.

LeBron's been amazing as a player-coach-GM this year and especially in these finals but he's way off from being the GOAT. GOATs don't lose 3 times in the finals. Also, his competition this year has been the worst in a long time, it's been a very poor season.

GOATs can take a bad team and win it all though. MJ couldn't win without HoF players on his team. The Cavs are a team of Misfits

If the cavs win this surely it's better than anything Jordan managed to do.

I think once retired he will be looked at as the GOAT, he does so much at such a high level and makes anyone that plays with him a much better player.

No doubt that his supporting cast is really bad, but the whole season has been bad, with an incredible amount of injuries ( who'd know that playing 82 games in the span of 6 months while traveling over 55 000 miles would be a health hazard ). However it's not like defeating 'storied' franchises like the Hawks and Warriors with 'proven winners' like Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, Bogut, Lee and Iguodala would be the greatest accomplishment. And if he loses again it'll be another hit on his legacy.

On the other hand, they're playing a team who had one of the best NBA regular seasons of all time, in an incredibly strong conference, whilst only having LeBron.

Lets remember, despite being in the easy East both the Cavs and Heat couldn't even make the playoffs without LeBron. The Bulls were still a top team when Jordan took his 18 months out.

Kinda feel for the King. Took a team that won 33 wins last season - without last seasons best player, and managed to win 2 games against a top 5 team all-time. Insane, but even the best can't overcome that. That's 3 finals he's lost because of D-League team mates.

Only 2 players on the roster from last season, so not last year's team by any means. Granted, they've had a severely bad luck with injuries in the postseason.

Regular season stats... Warriors aren't nearly as good, proven by losing 2 games to LeBron and a bunch of D-leaguers. It's a myth the conference was very strong - virtually every team they've competed with has gone through severe injury problems - Thunder, Spurs, Rockets, Grizzlies, Cavs. In fact all 4 teams they've faced in the postseasn have been without their main playmaker. Warriors were just incredibly healthy in an incredibly unhealthy season. Still, no doubt they've deserved their title.

That'd be 2, not 3.

Surprised there's no new thread. But come on, nobody's talking about the All Star weekend? The dunk-off was probably the greatest of all time. Gonna tell my kids one day that my city got to witness the greatest duel since Dominique and MJ. I'll try to post some of the dunks later, but they were just out of this world ridiculous.
