Folski
Harden on that final possession. Howard was worse he gets the ball with 3.2 left and a pretty open lane.
kurtsimonw
Harden has to take the shot though. Very little time left and after he pushed off on Curry, he had a lot of space for a shot... so he gives it to Dwight Howard at the 3 point line and motions to get the ball back!? Hopefully GSW take big leads in all of them, it forced Houston to try and play basketball. Harden is the biggest bore to watch otherwise, nobody wants to see 50 free throws a game. BG_Villa_Fan
LeBron's been amazing as a player-coach-GM this year and especially in these finals but he's way off from being the GOAT. GOATs don't lose 3 times in the finals. Also, his competition this year has been the worst in a long time, it's been a very poor season.

DCJonah
If the cavs win this surely it's better than anything Jordan managed to do. I think once retired he will be looked at as the GOAT, he does so much at such a high level and makes anyone that plays with him a much better player. ThunderPower_14
If LeBron manages to win this title, he's answering a lot of the questions about his worthiness and absolutely smashing down the door to GOATness IMO. And I'm really hoping GSW win.

The Cavs are a team of Misfits No doubt that his supporting cast is really bad, but the whole season has been bad, with an incredible amount of injuries ( who'd know that playing 82 games in the span of 6 months while traveling over 55 000 miles would be a health hazard ). However it's not like defeating 'storied' franchises like the Hawks and Warriors with 'proven winners' like Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, Bogut, Lee and Iguodala would be the greatest accomplishment. And if he loses again it'll be another hit on his legacy.
DCJonah
I don't think his legacy takes a hit if they lose. A lot of people were predicting a sweep. I've heard some pundits still think he could be the finals MVP even if they lose.

The Bulls were still a top team when Jordan took his 18 months out.
kurtsimonw
Kinda feel for the King. Took a team that won 33 wins last season - without last seasons best player, and managed to win 2 games against a top 5 team all-time. Insane, but even the best can't overcome that. That's 3 finals he's lost because of D-League team mates.
BG_Villa_Fan
Kinda feel for the King. Took a team that won 33 wins last season Only 2 players on the roster from last season, so not last year's team by any means. Granted, they've had a severely bad luck with injuries in the postseason. against a top 5 team all-time Regular season stats... Warriors aren't nearly as good, proven by losing 2 games to LeBron and a bunch of D-leaguers. It's a myth the conference was very strong - virtually every team they've competed with has gone through severe injury problems - Thunder, Spurs, Rockets, Grizzlies, Cavs. In fact all 4 teams they've faced in the postseasn have been without their main playmaker. Warriors were just incredibly healthy in an incredibly unhealthy season. Still, no doubt they've deserved their title. That's 3 finals he's lost because of D-League team mates. That'd be 2, not 3. kurtsimonw
Well, D league was an exaggeration but it's very telling that teams LeBron makes finals with are awful without him. It's far from a myth that the West isn't strong IMO.

Keyblade
Surprised there's no new thread. But come on, nobody's talking about the All Star weekend? The dunk-off was probably the greatest of all time. Gonna tell my kids one day that my city got to witness the greatest duel since Dominique and MJ. I'll try to post some of the dunks later, but they were just out of this world ridiculous.
