mjmooney Posted April 1 VT Supporter Share Posted April 1 (edited) This afternoon, I randomly decided to watch a couple of episodes of "Alistair Cooke's America", the classic BBC documentary series from 1972. I remember watching it first time round, and enjoying the way he compared the 'old' USA with footage of the ultra-modern 'now' (i.e. 1972). And suddenly that is half a century ago, and it all looks strangely antique. Incidentally, I'd be interested to know what our American VTers make of it.
