He did look knackered. Might just be inconsistent playing time but I honestly don't remember the last time he went the full 90

He's just not a wide player, plain and simple. He could do a job against Stoke because Stoke are awful but he was nigh useless against Fulham

Friend was running the marathon. She was at 25 miles. They're trying to get out, evacuating everyone out of the area.

May be blasted for saying this, but I think we should pull a McLeish and put 11 defenders on this one. A 0-0 might not be glamorous but a point would be immense. -
An off day for him, but I think this is the second game in a row where he was bullied by physical defenders. He struggles against them when he can't just boss his way around. I shudder to think what Benteke vs Clark is like in training. I hope he doesn't get frustrated with all the shirt pulling Manure are going to get away with. Think he can do one over Rio though and we all saw what he did to Smalling earlier this season.

Agree with the lot that he's not a wide player. Think he could do a job up front as part of a 2 striker formation, but just doesn't offer enough attacking out wide. Would rather play Dawkins over him.

I think we can conclude that we have shit subs. But it was silly to bring Zog off and change the shape. It's not the first time Villa doesn't have a Plan B though.

Gabby's always come through when we needed it the most. He's not a great player but he's always been very accommodating of where he's had to play. Support striker, lone man up front, winger. He's filled in all those with nary a complaint. Four managers have gone through in his time and he is always featured heavily no matter the rotating pieces around him. When we need a goal to keep us going or draw it back, it's Gabby, beating his chest and yelling for the club even though there's better players around him. **** all what his salary is

I'm confident but I also have a feeling that about 20 minutes into the game, I'm going to be pissed off and grumbling to the Mrs -
Thing I like about him is that he doesn't seem to panic. He settles it with his first touch and then looks to play it forward or looks for an option that will start an attack instead of passing it back to a pressured defender or Guzan. Yeah, you might not always notice him or see him drive forward with the ball, but it's those kinds of decisions that will lead to retaining possession and building an attack instead of needlessly hoofing it up field.

Chelsea has been moved for nat'l TV as well. 3 of our last 6 are on. If it's tight, the Wigan match will undoubtedly be on TV as well. I'd prefer we weren't. -

I think Lambo will continue to go thrift shopping. PL players are over priced since we all see them and it'll be easier to slide a relative newcomer to the league next year since this team will be a bit more experienced
