  1. Amazing how Norwich finish above us for the one season and now they are the bigger club. Reminds me of when Bent signed and Sunderland were 6th and they made us out to be the lesser team then too. If Norwich are a BIG club, I am sure the top quality managers around the globe will be chomping at the bit to get the job and splashing out using their 5.5 million warchest made available by that old man that rants and rants and rants. You know him... Deliah. Cook that up, bitch.
  2. "Look David our final offer is £250 plus 2 bags of KP's finest..... OR our entire back four...... take your pick!" "We can also throw in a Caspian Pizza, Big Johns Kebab Meat and chips and VIP membership at the Hunters Moon"
  3. Sure they werent talking about Brendan Rodgers? I hear the scousers like talking to themselves. Its the inbred way.
  4. Anyway.. a blip in the proud history of AVFC. Welcome PL.
  5. Really don't understand your thinking on your second paragraph at all. Very bizarre. I could never thank AM for today.... Apart from making me dread every single weekend of the shite football on offer and to be fair, never letting me down. He was not just shite, but consistently shite. Also thanks for saving us some cash?, but thanks for also lowering our revenue from reduced attendances last season... oh an heres that £2 million compo for your "troubles" I bet in line with the ASDA adverts, AM slapped his arse twice and skipped all the way home to shitsville.
  6. I cannot believe this until I hear it from the man who knows..... so... Anyone heard off Dave Whelan yet?
  7. Lol its the natural thing that happens with Players and managers, Look at villa, we have had to accept players like Young wanted to go to a bigger club than Villa.. Same thing with managers Villa are a much bigger club than Norwich lol.. Im sure you will be able to get someone from the Championship maybe simon Grayson :crylaugh: I hope Norwich get a manager with good pedigree.... :crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh: Priceless.. Pissing myself laughing at the thought of AM being paraded around Carrow Road. With his dashing wee smile "3 Year contract you say Delia ma man ?" (rubbing his crotch in glee) Bit out of order, that. I wouldn't wish McPish on my worst enemy. Without a doubt, he's got the look of compensation in those eyes

  9. I understand guys, but we have to look at this in a positive light. As difficult as OGS position is, surely he will be PRAYING we offer him the role to get out of the sticky situation he is in. I cant see an investor pulling out because of an ''informal interview". My guess.... We have approached Norwich about Lambert and set them a deadline for a response by Monday afternoon. If nothing doing, we will take on OGS as the boss. either of them, I will be v.happy indeed UTV
  10. Ok Alex, we'll do it at the same time 1....2 ...3.. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.. ftt ftt ftt ftt
  11. "Do you know you've shit your pants Alex?"
  12. That's a competitor for ITK of the year, you know. Talks of having to meet certain goals in his contract. I'd be very surprised if he met any, he's beaten just about every record we had for the worst season. Lowest points. Lowest home points. Lowest home wins. Lowest goals scored. And we were the only team to go the entire season without scoring from a corner. Pure speculation, but I'd like to believe the rumours he's leaving with sweet FA compensation are true. He certainly doesn't deserve any, he's already taken us for 11 months salary. I promise you it was not plucked out of thin air (although it could be total bollocks!) If it is nowt paid out for compo that will be great, but I think he only stuck to his guns and didnt quit because of the payout available.
  13. Surely PF had his arse kicked by RL. I am still astounded how PF tapped up AM, got him to resign, got caught out by BCFC and we paid compo to BCFC for him. We then pay him a salary to serve up that shat for 11 months. Now we have to pay him some compo after he gets the chop. There must have been a clause with the termination of his contract, taking into account how bad his record is and how he had already cost them comp already. I am sure someone said they were in a restaurant were AM's wife was the with friends and was over heard taking about 2mill comp if he was sacked.
  14. Really enjoyed the pacific, its has a lot more to take in than Band of Brothers. They have basically made the film by using two books, one published by Leckie (which was boring) and the other, Sledge (boring in parts, but very well written) I bought both books after watching the box set, but watching it on the box was a lot better. A lot of the side stories i.e leckie getting with the Aussie lass, were not mentioned in the books.
  15. hi all, got it for £30 all in from play trade. always blink and you miss em deals, but actually got in there first for a change. Been unable to play due to the little um, who's 8 months and in a sleep routine now. when are you guys usually online and any gamer tags i can add? cheers all
  16. Has this been annouced anywhere? Any links? Google his name and it will come up. I said 18 month ban and £500, but to be fair his fine will reflect his earnings and i guess it is to make an example of him. There was no way he was getting off with a little ban or on the other hand, being sent to prison. And his car going for 300m after hitting the barrier ON A BEND, that little shit was tanking it. He is a lucky sod no one else was hit.
  17. ah right... are you near sutton? call the ford dealership and ask for conrad. i know its ford, but you will be shocked. had a similar bump in my golf and did the bumper repair and respray for £150. Conrod is the main main bodyshop wise. they are the one near to good hope, by the ferrari garage.
  18. Chipsaway - avoid. I had a company focus last year that was going back to dealer. dent as small as 50p peice. quoted £300 on the dot. told him to piss off on the spot. Dent devils - £110 all in, jobs a good,un. Recommended
  19. If the driver is fully comprehensive then yes, his vehicle damage will still be covered, unless specific policy wording has been added, but this is rare and usually if a driver has been caught previously. So, for the smart arse who had to try and have a dig, call your insurers and ask them. Its a taboo subject, but they have to tell you. They are not going to write "we still cover you in the event of an accident if your pissed" are they? Nor will the policy state you are not covered in this scenario. If Mr Bannan had Third Party Only cover in this case the barrier damage would be covered and any possible injury to a passenger, namely, Mr James Collins. As for punishment, I agree the courts are hit and miss, but taking into account he had an accident, failed to report it and fled the scene with excess alcohol consumed, I doubt he has done himself any favours at all and is not your standard stop and breath test scenario
  20. Working in the insurance industry, I see and investigate this type of "incident" all to often. What usually happens is that the driver (under the influence) has an accident and then leaves the vehicle either parked up where it is, or somewhere tucked away. The driver will then go about his business - in this case - it was so early in the morning that "Mr Bannan was asleep at home in bed", non the wiser. He then wakes up looks outside and "oh shit my cars gone" (wink wink) and calls the police to report it. If it makes it to that stage, then he is almost as good as out of the woods - vehicle not found by police prior to him calling (as they would have called him) and the booze would be out of his system. Added to the fact its a footballer reporting a theft, the police think he has been targeted. HOWEVER... If the police find the vehicle before the theft is reported, they check the owners details and go to the address confirmed with the DVLA and nine times out of ten, find the owner still half pissed, or bruised like a mother **** (accident rleated). From there, you have to PROVE the vehicle was stolen and the police have already assumed it was the owner at the wheel. This incident occured on the motorway I believe, so there was CCTV footage galore. He should of just stopped where he was, organised recovery and took his chances the old bill didnt drive past, but as your on camera, its unlikely you aint gunna see blues and twos. All in all, Bannan has hit the sauce that night, been unable to drive normally and hit a barrier (on a sunday morning!!) and did a runner and failed to report it. I have come across cases like this where families have lost loved ones, such as occupnats in the responsible vehicles, the innocent vehicles and general passersby on the street. Young and Old. He made a decision to get in that car, he knew the risks and he had the cash to get himself home or book a hotel. Then he has the accident and runs off like a coward. Might be a good footballer, but a poor human being. I just hope he learns from his stupid and arrogant behaviour. He will prob get a 18 month ban & £500 fine - nothing to him, pocket change. The Insurers will still end up paying for his vehicle damage and any damage to the barrier - nice. I dont want him kicked out of the club, but he needs to get a grip and appreciate the good life he has. He should be ashamed of himself and I hope he is.
  21. Soba, possibly. Buckwheat? Udon are thick noodles. And they deserve a better fate than this thread. Very thin rice noodles, fried with a chilli powder i think. then pork, ham, prawn and chicken. tad of garlic and fried onion to boot. not too hot a dish, but enough to get the taste buds dancing. Very very moreish.
  22. Bar the blackburn game - Delph has been poor. I cannot understand why he has not been put on the bench, or had a few games in the reserves. His first touch is a joke, his positioning is all over the place and if he carrys on playing then one of those two footed tackles will have him sent off. Albrighton - no form this season and rightfully dropped. Nzogbia - cost 9.5m has been average at best at rightfully dropped Delph - one good game, followed by average and poor displays and he is still a starter in the team. We looked so much better with Bannan on yesterday
  23. Chinese food is my weakness... Crispy chilli shredded beef Singapore Vermicilli (rice noodles) Sweet and Sour pork/chicken balls Salt and pepper spare ribs im hungry
