  1. They're 10th in the bloody league. Hardly anything to brag about. They'll be fortunate to be in Europa next season.
  2. I don't like their new stuff (post-2002) that much though, to be honest...
  3. We'll get destroyed 3-0, Suarez hatrick, with whatever is left of our pride slipping away. Seriously, though, I think we have a decent chance of getting something...
  4. Terrible result. I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting rather tired of football.
  5. Lmao We're shite. Bring on the championship.
  6. A heavy defeat for us. Then again, AVB has screwed up many a time in his day.
  7. "Lowest league attendance in 15 years" http://www.birminghammail.net/news/birmingham-news/2012/09/19/birmingham-city-s-lowest-league-attendance-in-15-years-where-are-the-bluenose-fans-97319-31866656/
  8. The Villa job is still widely regarded as among the best in the world, really. With a Villa side actually winning things, I see no reason why any manager would leave. Doubt it. We'll have to do a lot to keep him if he succeeds here. I mean, even David Moyes looks like he could leave the Everton job at some point.
  9. Yes he was. He was one of the best players in the world from about 2004-2008. Him and Torres carried Liverpool for years, everybody said at the time that Liverpool were too reliant on those players and now they cant rely on them results have dipped. Agreed. He was a monster back in the day.
  10. I'm going for bottom half. Seriously, I don't think their squad has the depth or the fight to get any higher. Gerrard is going to sulk more through the season when he realises his chances of winning the league are gone - he is never going to have the chance to join a top team again. Carragher is finished - he has been slowing down for years now. Yet in it's professional twilight, the Gerrard/Carragher behemoth will still maintain enough power to upset change. A good managerial decision would have been to flog these pair for whatever they could get, as soon as they came in, but to do so would bring on the obligatory death threats from the 'fans'. There are better clubs playing better football than Liverpool. It used to be Manure and Chelsea, but that list now includes Spuds, Arsenal, Citeh, Newcastle and possibly Everton. There is a rot at Liverpool that looks like the clearly visible rot Newcastle had prior to relegation. So this season, I expect Liverpool to finish below at least two of Villa, Stoke, West Brom, West Ham, Sunderland, Fulham and Swansea. Also below Newcastle, Everton and the other obvious five. Personally, I still think they'll finish quite comfortably in the top 10. It's still early days.
  11. More comedy from Liverpool, gotta love 'em.
  12. Very good point, and leaves plenty of room for optimism. Some Newcastle fans apparently want Pardew to get the sack after that result.
