  1. I wear pumps a bit as well, usually with darker jeans though.
  2. Good luck Wigster. Stevo, skinny jeans!? WTF!?
  3. Most I've spent on clothes at once was £55 for my beloved ever present Berghaus coat.
  4. Yeah it gets me by atm. 1/3rd of my wages to my "landlord". It's not enough to live on properly AND run a car on though, but hopefully my wage will certainly be higher in years to come! Of course we will always need the certain types of uni grads to make this country function properly, but it's my belief schools should promote apprenticeships more.
  5. Agree. Then again, considering my standing as an apprentice, you would probably have guessed that. So what's the deal with your apprenticeship? How many hours of study or college attendance vs working, how much on the job training do you get, what quality is it? What costs are covered, and what costs do you have to meet yourself? And if you don't mind saying, what do you get paid and how will that vary over the life of the apprenticeship? Day release for college. Company pay it although I offered to pay for it this year (HNC course cost 2000 for 18 month course, I checked.) 38.75 hours per week paid OFFICIALLY although I tend to work a little more than that. I am getting good quality training IMO, plenty of experience throughout the company, plenty of feedback sessions, and have got a mentor who I meet with occasionally to see how I'm doing as well. Started off (Yr 1 of 4) being paid around £160pw (no tax as of then), then up to around 200 in yr 2. Now (Yr.3 ) I'm paid around 240 (pre-tax) and I should be paid around 300 in Yr. 4. Personally I think it's great as I seem to have fitted into the company very well, although my whole family were apprentices. School didn't promote appships at all, kept pushing Uni at me, but the idea of loads of debt following me for years didn't appeal. In my opinion, this country needs more apprenticeships. The balance between kids going to uni and doing an apprenticeship is far too unbalanced.

  7. We win and we're top half aren't we? And they might be in the relegation zone. Must win really.
  8. I know 3.1415926. Didn't know after that though!
  9. Ah yeah, I remember that now, as I was on my way to college. Mike Hunt is an obvious one. Ben Dover / Phil McCracken are very obvious ones. Roland Butter, Hans Up, Hugh Janus, Wendy Belltolls, Ellie Veight, Mark de Man (name of a real footballer ) Joe King, Yvonne Taffight, Phillipa Funnell, Ian Shee, Scott Free are all obvious, but mildly amusing ones I use.
  10. Yeah that was good.... I actually thought about Carl Hickbread literally just before he read it out! Ahh, surprised we haven't had Mike Oxlong yet.
