    Took me all of a millisecond to work this one out....Villa. Would be great to see England do it, but being a Villa fan is just more real than being an England fan to me. My gf bought last seasons Villa kit for my little girl a couple of days ago (£11 reduced from £70 ) and it put a massive smile on my face seeing her in it. My brother bought her an England kit each on the same day, but it didn't have the same effect on me. I am half Welsh, so that might have something to do with it, never exactly been patriotic.

    What a song. Watching them perform it at Glastonbury a couple of years ago was just wooooooaaah. Just wish i was there instead of watching on the telly.

    Got talked into buying some new curtains for the living room, so spent half an hour in B&Q. Good job we already knew what we were getting otherwise it couldve taken A LOT longer......women.

    I wanted us to sign Doyle when he was at Reading, then he seemed to go off the boil a bit. Started to improve again last year though and impressed me at VP this year. I think £10m would be cheap for him, although im not totally convinced that hed work here.

    I know, i feel a bit like a kid again. For one reason or another i havent looked forward as much to a World Cup since Italia 90. Hope England manage to get to the quarters at least.

    Agree with this. If Gerrard was played in his preferred position for England he'd be twice the player, personally i'd wouldnt pick Lampard if Barry was fit. Not convinced Cole would be the man for us, i didnt watch all of ROI match last night, but Doyle looked like he had a good game, totally different to the Premiership, but did well all the same. Would prefer him to Cole.

    Id like to see Carew kept for the bench, he'd make a great impact sub. I also think the same of Petrov, if we stay with 4-4-2. He'd be good to bring off the bench to see a game out for us.

    [rec] - a corking Spanish 'zombie' flick - v v good or The Orphanage - a chiller more than a horror but a sublime piece of film. Very good indeed. I also liked Paranormal actrivity, as I mentioned earlier in this thread. :nod: Seen this already, thought it was ok, nothing special.

    I find this incredibly hard to believe. Their initial offer was £20m, and as far as I'm aware, they haven't made a bid since. So you say they value this deal at £45m, more than double the initial offer? If true, Mancini really isn't as smart as people think. If they started bidding at £20m, theres every reason to believe the fee would end up being £30m plus and if Milner has a good WC, even higher.
