Bored with nothing to do so thought I’d watch the Newcastle thing on Amazon Prime. My good it’s nauseating. I’ve watched all the other team docs but this one is the most staged of them all. Their board are probably the most unlikable bunch I can imagine. Amanda Staveley having phone conversations with herself ‘negotiating transfers’ allegedly… Must have mentioned FFP 30 times in the first episode. Sportwashing in full effect. -

Galatasaray loaned Zaniolo to Aston Villa for 7 million euros. 22.5 million euro compulsory purchase option... There are also 7.5 million euros available bonuses. He needs to play around 15-20 matches for the forced purchase to kick in. There are also hard-to-reach bonuses of 10 million euros (like winning the Premier League and Conference League). If the forced purchase does not take effect; Aston Villa will pay another 2.5 million euros to Galatasaray Official signatures are awaited. Sounds like a good sensible deal. I’m happy with this.

Hypothetically speaking if Mings got injured and Pau was still at Villareal I guarantee we’d all be crying out for us to sign him as a first choice. He’s been one of the most highly rated LCB for years. He will be excellent for us no doubt - just a bit shit that it’s under the circumstance of Mings injury. Let’s give him support and a little bit of time and he’ll be a fan favourite.

Yeah McGinn was anonymous. Think Newcastle did a job on him - but definitely would have been gutted for his pal effecting his performance in the process.
