  1. Such as? I can't actually think of many things you could accuse someone of that's worse.
  2. He seems more confident and it looks like he's enjoying it more than a few days ago.
  3. Well I think you are splitting hairs. Football fans of all clubs give abuse to figures they dislike. I don't think Spurs fans actually think Wenger is a paedophile, the are just idiots being abusive, like our fans do to Redknapp. Redknapp has had legal troubles and even court appearances over tax dodging. Wenger has had absolutely no link, no matter how small, to paedophilia. I hate Redknob but I'd never accuse him of paedophilia.
  4. So I take it your hysteria riddled posts about how terrible it was that Randy didn't understand the English game because he was a foreign owner weren't painting him as the "villain" then?
  5. Looking like you've had a stroke is not a crime though, it's an opinion that is not asserted as a fact. Being a paedophile most definitely is a very serious crime, and saying "you paedophile" at someone is asserting it as a fact. Very different.
  6. Good post, as soon as you sack Garry Cook, tar and feather him and run him out of town I'll be able to wish you luck as well. PS - Milner is better than you realise now and will improve faster than you would ever expect.
  7. Well **** don't then! Who would you rather have the job than MacDonald?
  8. Not quite, they are usually about hypothetical events in the future. Not ones from the past which never happened. I'm not saying the game made him my favourite for the job, the release price of Jol did that. I'm saying it affirms my view that Mac is going to do a good job should he get it (note that this hypothetical situation is in the future).
  9. Not really. I know what an analogy is. My point is that your analogies (which the first one isn't) are very flawed. An analogy only works on certain levels and the ones you used didn't work on the levels that they were required to. For example, the teacher analogy would have worked better as a workplace analogy. KMac could have been an internal promotion in the company who you liked, respected and wanted to work for.
  10. So we can only go by things that would have worked with Fergie's appointment now? OK then we'll get a manager who was successful in Jockland and took one of their clubs to a European final. Oh wait, we've done that dance. Right, I'm not sure of the relevance of this. He's not a teacher, they're not children and this isn't the "start" of their relationship. He's coached the full squad several times in the past. They didn't meet him for the first time last monday. Irrelevant. I like the way my car looks but saying if it didn't move anywhere and was on fire would I still like my car? That's a moot point. I don't know what that means.
  11. The Spam game and reaction afterwards proved some things to me. It proved that our current squad like, respect and are delighted to work under MacDonald. That is one of the major gambles out of the way. Who's to say that Jol wouldn't rile up and fall out with half of our players? He's an abrasive word removed as far as I can see. I think he's the ideal man for the job (Jol that is) but I don't want us to spend half of the Milner cash on replacing someone who walked because they couldn't spend that half of the Milner cash. Well I'm sorry but if one game proved all that to you I can't think of what to say !! I think that's the trap a lot of people are falling into. What about when things go wrong, when people are left out, when the novelty wears off ? We've seen it a million times at other Clubs. It wasn't just the game. It was Petrov (supposedly MON's love child) gushing about how the lads want him to get the job and will go and play for him. Same with Downing, as with comments from people with links to the inner workings of the club. All of the problems you list are there with ANY managerial appointment. My point is that this is the only appointment that we KNOW will start off on excellent terms.

  13. I am staggered you seem to think that is a fact. From what I can tell MON picked out Ireland in the swap, they got into the advanced stages of negotiations and then MON left. In this tricky situation Randy consulted with MacDonald and decided to go through with the deal. Hardly Abramovichesque Schevchenko buying is it? Unless Mcdonald is our Manager, the owner has bought Ireland He hasn't bought him, the deal was already pretty much complete. He didn't pick Ireland out on his own and just hand some money over, it was nothing like that at all.

  15. This is a stupid idea. Mourinho actually rates DOL as a top manager That's what DOL says anyway. He also reckons Capello rates him and he's regularly offered some massive jobs which he turns down. What an arrogant word removed.
  16. Squishy faced ginger Dutch bloke. Defensive mid for Barca in the 90s.
  17. I figured that much. My question is what leads you to believe this? A resident ITKer? It's just that I heard 8months when he did it, that was about 4 months ago.
  18. Ninja warrior is the best show on TV. The latest version of stage 3 (the one on SASUKE 25) looks impossible.
  19. 1. Utd 2. Blose 3. Plop 4. Citeh 5. Spuds 6. Newcastle Blose and Newcastle would both move up if they ever weren't shit, Spurs would drop out of contention upon Redknapp's exit. Citeh wouldn't be there without Garry Cook.
  20. Similarly, when a line of people are in the outside lane of a dual carriage way overtaking a truck and some knob undertakes the whole line, tries to push in at the front, fails and then ends up sitting behind the truck while everyone goes back past him. Golden.
  21. He's from the posh end of London actually. Is there one? It's like the tasty end of a turd.
  22. He's from the posh end of London actually. Don't give me that Bow Bells shite, as far as I'm concerned if you're born inside the M25 then you're a crooked pearly suit wearing, spoon playing Cockney.
  23. Unfortunately he's one of them there Cockerneeeees
