  1. Looks like a real talent, hopefully get a decent run out tomorrow.
  2. Care to expand on that? You did call the transfer request right before it happened to be fair.
  3. It's his job, that stuff isn't a factor these days. Like I said elsewhere, I'd gladly shoot off to another job if it a) was more prestigious, would potentially get me noticed by more people, and c) pay me more than I would be capped at here. In that order. Loyalty doesn't come into it for regular Joe's jobs, why this assumption it does for footballers? Not when you've been plucked from the Belgian league to play in England as a young bloke. Thats like a polish refugee given a job and a home in england, proving he's a good worker then has the front to say bollocks to your payrise and contract, bollocks to your hospitatilty i can get more working over there so i want out (even though you're paying me more than enough, i can stomach one more year with you..) But I guess thats how a lot of people are thesedays. He can get his move, its just after one season it really gets me how he's just used our club. i didn't hear you complain when the club used Benteke to stay up didn't i? The club used Benteke?! Are you kidding me? We gave him his chance and paid him a decent salary at the same time!
  4. It's just a shame that Clark is not very good.
  5. Having a cracking game in today's friendly against Bochum by all accounts.
  6. Why? Because we happen to be staying at the same hotel as them? Not convinced.
  7. Why not when it has relevance and insight into the discussion. It's a Spurs fan quoting another Spurs fan once in a 519 pages thread. I'm holding myself to mostly read only in this thread. It's too full of anger, desperation and delusion throughout for it to make any sense to involve in debate as an outsider Entertaining to read though You know where the door is...
  8. I wasn't replying to you, just stating what I hope can be done with the Benteke funds. Nice to see that we agree though Any strikers in mind?
  9. Ideally, we could use the Benteke money to buy Kiyotake and a striker.
  10. Bye bye.. What shall we do with the £25-£30million?
  11. Fantastic goalkeeper, great news.
  12. I played him quite a bit in my Netherlands ultimate team on FIFA 13 ... Played really well in the centre of the pitch and has a good long range shot on him... We should definitely sign him. Think he currently goes for a couple of thousand coins but not 100% sure... Sure.. And in real life?
  13. No he is not in the same bracket as Benteke and will not cost £30m+ to buy but the comparison is still relevant. Their fans will be on their version of Villatalk scoffing at our supposed £4m bid the same as we would scoff at a £12-15m bid for Benteke and their owners likewise. He has only been at the club a season and had a very good year. It will most likely take a club record for them to sell him. Would we be willing to pay that much? We haven't payed big money for transfers for quite a while now so I am sceptical. I agree that we won't be spending massive transfer fees on anyone. Perhaps the talk about a release clause in his contract is true though?
  14. Read the first paragraph of that article.
  15. It would be interesting to find out if he definitely has a release clause in his contract and for how much.
  16. Remind me, why is it that we will definitely lose out because Stoke are interested?!
  17. I'd reject that offer - but on a side note, Eisfeld is going to be a fantastic player.
  18. At least this story will finally be put to bed, one way or another.
  19. Perhaps we have a different target in the pipeline? Only explanation I can think of for not bidding.
  20. I can honestly say that's the most horrendous comment that I've ever had the misfortune to read.
