  1. OotP was the only good one ive played, free roaming around hog warts was great. Halfblood Prince looked very similar. Haven't played the others. Really want to try Lego Potter. But yes, that kinect shooter for part one looked truly truly awful. I am looking into buying either OotP or HBP because they are pretty cheap on Amazon now (between six and eight pounds). Did you enjoy OotP then, recommend it? I had the Lego Years 1-4 which I played co-op with the Mrs, It was really good fun and It made a nice change. I think that is available quite cheap now too. I didn't ever try it with Kinect but with a normal controller It was so so bad.
  2. I am currently playing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I played Part 1 a few months back and It is definitely without doubt the worst computer game that I have ever played, Part 2 however is a massive improvement! Spell switching is a lot more polished and the general movement of the characters is less clunky and buggy, although some of the voice acting particularly Voldermort is horrendous. It is not a classic and nothing more than average but being a huge Harry Potter fan It Is great being able to see Hogwarts and Gringotts in a computer game, so yeah really enjoying it so far.
  3. Jordan Rhodes is off to Brighton according to the man himself, I know there were never any really strong links to us but I thought I would mention it anyway.
  4. I'd Imagine that It will be a fee that COULD reach £3million based on different add ons.
  5. What, our success has gone to our heads because we don't think we should just roll over and let an (admittedly much bigger) club who we finished above last season poach all of our management team for no compensation? You guys would have reacted exactly the same if the boot was on the other foot and I have no doubt you will do when lambert walks out on you at some point in the future. For the time being though we can all move on. We've both got new managers the fans are happy with and we are both making new signings and looking forward to the new season. Bit of a shame though we have to have a lunchtime kick-off for our game at Villa Park. Still at least it should be on the saturday as i would expect Liverpool to get through in the Europa League. Fixed.
  6. Looks a good player with a lot more potential still to come. The price looks good and would be another shrewd signing to go along with El Ahmadi - Yes please.
  7. I originally purchased God Of War 3 and after playing for a very short period of time I decided that I wanted to play 1 and 2 first in order to understand the story, so I went and picked up God Of War Collection. I am just coming to the very end of God Of War and It has been excellent but I have felt it has dragged on a bit towards the end, the last hour or so feels like it's never ending, just when you think you're coming to the finale something else happens, 8.5/10 from me. Once I've finished that I don't think I will go straight into GOW2 (Kratos gives you headaches), might have a second run through of a Batman game or one of the Uncharted, undecided yet.
  8. Richard, if you want to welcome Karim then just say so.
  9. You love a good sing song, don't you? certainly do Mr McGrath... oooh i feel another song coming on
  10. I've never seen the guy play but based on the highlight videos of him (not always reliable, I know) he looks like he wants to keep the ball on the deck and play one-twos, along with having a good engine. For £2million looks like a no brainer!
  11. I am quite the opposite, I love the Uncharted series!
  12. If he had a straightforward clause in his contract saying he could speak to any premier clubs then why would this be dragging on with solicitors and talks of a tribunal. Re Culverhouse/Karsa, they are on a rolling 12 month contract with presumeably no clause to speak to anyone else, so if someone else wants them they are going to have to pay 12 months compensation otherwise I suspect they will stay on our employment, presume we are diggng our heels in until the Lambert compensation/clause issue is sorted which could drag on for months. Or it could be that Culverhouse having played for us, having family ties in Norfolk wants to stay here and be part of CH's coaching team, who knows, none of us we're only guessing. Well that is the whole point.. Norwich apparently didn't honour this clause, hence the solicitors.
  13. I don't believe in natural ability, that people are born footballers. If that was true why arn't the sons of pele footballers? I read a book called Bounce by Mathew Syed which sort of agreed with what i always thought. My grandad always went on about natural ability would always win over graft. But his book shelves were packed with golf books and every tue fri and sat he'd be down the club. Obviously Riise and Agbonlahor didn't have amiga 500's when they were little. If Riise practiced mostly alone he wouldn't be good at taking on players and getting out of tight holes that someone like messi. But he must have refined his hard shot blasting the ball against a wall. Right, so if your Dad is/was a professional footballer that automatically makes you born with the same ability?
  14. Yea, it's not quite what I said is it? Being 6'7" and having extraordinarily long thigh muscles and incredibly quick twitch muscles is not normal. If you read interviews with footballers like scholes, keane, beckham, they are not natually gifted althletes, they work on their fitness. They also used to do nothing but kick balls around as kids, if they didnt have a football it would be a ball of socks or pebbles. Look at the Brazilians, they play with tethered footballs and even marbles (keepy-uppy) on sand which is why they are so good at controlling the ball and manipulating it. Ronaldo used to take a mini football with him everywhere, dribbling it around his village. Practice is the main ingredient. Fair enough, if you're some fat slob kid that choses computers or pokemon cards instead of football, then you're not going to get anywhere. But this is boring now, as I said originally if Brett Holman is as good as the people I first listed, then he'll be fine. Nah, the raw ability is the main ingredient, followed by practice and the determination to succeed (mental strength). You can practice all day long but if you haven't got that natural raw talent, it ain't ever going to happen.
  15. Basically, he is shit but practices a lot.
  16. This I do not agree with lol.. Look at Gabby he is a wonderful athlete but when it comes down to Natural ability e.g. Touch, instinct, vision, he doesnt have it.. Answer me this if Gabby didnt have his pace would he be a footballer? I don't know. Gabby's natural ability compared to the other professionals is poor but amazing compared to ours.
  17. Dude, stop talking shit. Becoming a professional footballer is a natural ability that needs enhancing with training etc. You either have it in the first place or you don't and every one of us on this forum do not have that natural ability.
  18. I was born in the West Midlands and have lived here ever since. My Dad and Grandad are both Villa fans and took me to games from an early age, easy decision.
  19. I absolutely loved those 3 games, get them finished! I really do need to finish Arkham Asylum as i've had Arkham City sitting there for a month unopened. Doing uncharted 3 in 3D so tend to play a couple of chapters at a time only. Yeah, if you have Arkham City then even more reason to get Asylum finished. Wow, I bet Uncharted 3 in 3D is pretty special? Have you played the previous 2 installments before this one?
