    Why are we so bad at defending in friendlies? Terrible goal, a league 2 side could have went through our defence there.

    The same thing occured with Benfica at a tournament in Guimarães (Benfica, Guimarães and Groningen). We played 2 days in a row. We still won that But in that tournament Benfica are by far the best team. Should be a fairly easy match against Feyenoord but we'll probably struggle against Benfica. But then again we did lose to Bohemians

    I think we may play a few young players. Guzan, Albrighton, Weimann, Clark, Lichaj may all play. Guzan isn't that young really, just inexperienced. I think we'll try to win this tournament for the prize money so I think we'll play a few more youngsters against Feyenoord because they are the weaker out of the two as shown in the match last night. But this tournament is just set up for Benfica to win. They're the only team to get a rest. Arsenal do exactly the same in Emirates cup. Not complaining though, it's only pre-season.

    Young would be terrible up front. He can't even finish anyway. He crosses the ball when he shoots on goal most of the time. Off the striker would be good or free role (when we beat Bolton 4-0, Derby 6-0 and Blues 5-1 in a row, I think).

    Embarrassing for Spurs. Doesn't mean anything but it's still terrible to lose 4-1 at home in a friendly against a team who are probably inferior to them.

    Even still, Bellamy and Ireland wouldn't go IMO.

    Fulham wouldn't have enough money to buy Bentley, Bellamy and Ireland. Ireland would want to go to a bigger club IMO. Bellamy has said before that he only wants to move back to Cardiff for family reasons. Bentley is realistic but Spurs will ask for about £10-15 million which is too much money for Fulham IMO.

    Djemba Djemba for £1.3 million could be the signing of the season IMO. He obviously has a lot of talent and at 29 years old he'll be thinking it's his last chance to prove to everyone just how good he is.

    Agrred, Adam Johnson's career has completely slid since he joined City. But you know it will slide backwards soon. I can't see Mancini wanting to play Johnson over Silva, Tevez etc..

    Young, Downing and even Albrighton are comfortably better players than SWP. He just runs into the full backs. He wastes posession far too much. I wouldn't take SWP on a free nevermind as part of the Milner deal.

    You say that but you seriously think Man City wont be winning things in near future? Im sorry but lets not kid ourselves they should be challenging for the Prem title sooner rather than later. I'm sure they will be competing but going to Man City would be a bad move for him IMO. He won't get a lot of games and he won't progress as a footballer as he would do if he was at Villa. If City did start winning things, I reckon Milner would be a bit part player and it would be a hollow victory for him. I'm sure you'd rather want to win something being an influential part of it than win lots of things but barely working for it. For example some Man United players have won Premier League medals in the past when they have made ten 5 minute apperances.

    Any Premier League club can claim to have a global fan base. I'm sure if you go around the majority of the world, there'll be Birmingham City fans in every country. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, Celtic, Real and Barca have 'real' global fanbases. The rest pretend they do.

    James Milner had very good reasona to want to leave Newcastle for Villa but he only has one reason to leave City for Villa, and that's money. There is a difference. I wouldn't mind if Milner left Villa for Chelsea or Man U.

    What do amicable talks with Villa actually mean? Anyway, in regards to Milner for £30 million, Citeh signed Robinho for £32 million and he's also played 2 good games for Citeh. I guarentee you Milner will have a good game for Citeh 95% of the time. He's always a 8/10 player at least!

    You can class Balotelli as not a fully paid up squad member. What is the point in these rules if you can find loopholes like that? You'd be buying a player for £25 million plus yet he won't be a proper squad member according to City.

    I've always thought Kolo Toure was an average CB. I'd say Toure should be your 4th choice CB out of the 4 you mentioned but I'm sure Toure will probably play because he's a bigger name than the other 3. Looks like you'll be selling Boyatta or whatever his name is. I wouldn't mind him at Villa in a few years time. I'd like Villa to rip City off with all your players who won't get a look in. A bit off topic maybe but Citeh fans piss me off when they scoff at Villa asking £30 million for Milner yet they've paid £15 million for Toure, £24 million for Lescott, £25 million for Adebayor..... I could go on and on. You'd think Citeh fans don't care about what price is being paid because Citeh don't have a budget whatsoever, the Arabs probably earn £30 million in one day!

    Are Genoa the Newcastle or Tottenham of Serie A? Well what Tottenham and Newcastle were like a few years ago.

    Best news of the summer if this happens. £2 million for Heskey is brilliant money IMO. And if you also take into account the big wages he's been receiving, it seems we'll have more flexibility with the wages we can offer, although I don't want MON to spend 60k a week on Keane.

    I know this is a bit off topic but I don't know where else to post it. We play Valencia in a pre-season friendly on Friday 6th August but Valencia play Man City on Saturday 7th August on ESPN. So it looks like we'll be playing Valencia reserves who are also without David Villa and David Villa. We may as well be playing a championship side!
