  1. No no no no no no no *puts fingers in ears* LALALALALALA NOT LISTENING TO YOU!
  2. Well done Spurs. Not relishing the cockney wankfest that will ensue in the coming months, but definately the lesser of all evils (how's that Champion's League ambition coming along Barry? ). Work's gonna be unbearable now though, of the 4 people in my team two are Manure fans and the other (my boss to make things worse) is a Spuds fan.
  3. Surely the worst possible move we could make would be sponsorship from these chaps?
  4. I'm gonna need a bath after saying this but *if* that Palacios stuff is true then I hope Spurs kick seven shades of shit out of Citeh.
  5. Are Kaiserslautern still the last team in recent history to be promoted from the second-tier of a major European league one season and win the top-tier the next? Can't think of any other teams that have done this in the last decade or so (certainly not in the Bundesliga anyway, unique acheivement there I believe). Shame really, Kaiserslautern could have been a major European team by now were it not for catastrophic financial mismanagement.
  6. Borussia Mönchengladbach and a host of British clubs looking at Marcus Pedersen Could be promising, can't really see a Premier League team taking a punt on the kid after one good season despite the links, and seeing as 'Gladbachs top scorers this season consisted of a central defender and a winger, we need all the reinforcements up front that money can buy. We're also rumoured to be looking at Robin Söder from IFK Gothenburg, who was linked with a host of big clubs in 2009 before a cruciate injury stunted his development.
  7. I can assure you there was no man-handling of any kind. Not that I can remember to be honest, it's all a hazy blur.
  8. Amaretto & Coke. It's pretty much the girliest drink you could order, but it takes just like Dr Pepper (and as such, I can consume dangerous quantities of the stuff).
  9. I (mostly) agree with this statement. Unfortunately, things are never as black and white as that though.
  10. Fairly bog-standard this, sat in the dug-out of Borussia Park during a stadium tour... This one however is less flattering...
  11. Monchengladbach's in Nordrheinwestfalen. :winkold:
  12. To everyone who's said the mighty Foals, you're on my Xmas card list chaps. Reasons to support Borussia Monchengladbach: -Strong Brit following, especially during the '90s due to proximity to British Military bases Rheindahlen and Laarbruch. -Only German club to be referenced in a Fast Show skit ("Borussia Monchenmonchenmonchenmonchenglad To Be Back... match abandanos; fisty, bad boys"). -Proud history, absolutely dominated German football in the '70s. -The club Lothar Matthäus, Stefan Effenberg, Berti Vogts and Günter Netzer all made names for themselves at. -Gorgeous new stadium. I've had the pleasure of attending matches at Borussia Park (and at the old Bokelsberg stadium) and the atmosphere is always electric, even at friendlies. -Uwe Kamps penalty heroics in the '92 German Cup semi-final (saving all four in the shoot-out against Bayer Leverkusen) mirroring Bosnich's penalty heroics against Tranmere. -Penchant for nurturing exciting young talent: Marko Marin, Marcell Jansen, Marvin Commper to name a few that have done well for themselves. Currently, Marco Reus (brought in from 2. Liga Rot Weiss Ahlen as Marin's replacement) and Michael Bradley (who had a fantastic Confederations Cup) are two players causing quite a stir. For those who've suggested FC St. Pauli, well, if you want to follow a team who thought having a camo-kit was a good idea then more power to you... . Bleurgh! And lastly, shit on Bayern Munich, shit on Borussia Dortmund, and shit on FC Koln. Much love! 8)

  14. This plus the small chequered boxes on each sleeve.
  15. We should've, but where's the fun in that? 8) Anywho, have tinkered with the blue and changed the collar...
  16. Some mock-ups of a home, away and third kit with Cadbury's sponsor for y'all... HOME AWAY THIRD
  17. Spurs; the team most likely to get hilariously knocked out in the qualifiers by the likes of FCU Politehnica Timisoara or someone akin.
  18. INERITABLE! Ahem, sorry. Couldn't resist. Back to the topic... Bale needs to maintain his current form through next season for any of the bigger clubs to start taking a serious look. Don't get me wrong, the lad's done really well but there's so many flash-in-a-pan youngsters around these days that have one great season and then five years later they wind up at Ebbsfleet (no offence to Ebbsfleet intended). He's certainly got everything going for him though. 3-1 flattered United today, although I did have to laugh at how utterly stonewall the first penalty was. I think if most Spurs fan's were told they were getting 6 points from the last 3 games they would've been very happy indeed. Oh, and Rafael's attempted goal-line overhead clearance when a simple header would have done was quite hilarious. As for the Eredivisie, I think back in the 90's you weren't taking as much of a chance on players as the general quality of the league was better (despite the fact that the league seems more competitive throughout now then it was back then).
  19. Video's a bit cack but the song's ace. For fans of Explosions In The Sky and The Appleseed Cast; co-incidentally Vessels' superb debut album "White Fields & Open Devices" was produced by the same John Congleton who's worked with aforementioned bands.
  20. It totally is. 'Forgiveness' and 'Home' are particularly excellent.
