For me its a show, would I buy any, well I bought the Common Linnets album but on the whole, no I would not but I like it for what it is. Chris summed it up, you get what it says on the tin, the camper the better.

This year the greatest of all competitions isn’t competing. That said the song contest is being shown without the competitiveness. Everyone gets a participation certificate. So tomorrow on BBC1 from 8 we get to revel in the sounds of europe minus the scoring. This is the highlight of my year.

I did a quick test with a couple of very obscure releases. Its pretty good. Now going to go down a record rabbit hole.

4 episodes in to Code404 and to be honest, it stinks. Its pretty dreadful. The first episode showed promise, but its painful watching at least 2 fantastic actors working with the script.

I have just spent 11 minutes giving it a listen. Its fairly pleasant in a post rock way. American Analog Set spring to mind. Checked my email for mention of Souvaris and a friend of a friend was in them so thats where this came from.

Linked slightly to Paris Angels in that it was released by the same label. This abomination is a cover of the VU tune. Its not weathered well and I appear to have a lot more shitty baggy cash in 12 inches than I first thought.
